Gerard's hands were shaking as the nurse with the soft tone led him down the halls, all tile surfaces and fluorescent lighting, and it reeked of cleaning supplies.

Gerard hated hospitals.

Hospitals were where he was sent when kids at school would beat him up, when he went manic and hurt himself, but what stuck out the most in his mind was that a hospital was where his grandmother died. And more than anything, he wished she was here with him.

Mikey wasn't able to go with him. Pete's car wouldn't start but he needed to get to a job interview, Mikey offered to give him a ride. Gerard almost chickened out of leaving the house entirely, but Mikey basically had to guilt trip him.

The nurse was nice, though. She had red and black, wavy hair, and pretty eyes. And those eyes glanced at Gerard a lot, even though he was pretty sure the gay was radiating off of him by this point in his life. Or so Lindsey told him.

The nurse stopped in front of a closed door, and looked at Gerard again. "I'm gonna talk to him first... Tell him you're here. That's okay?"

Gerard nodded, shoving his hands in his hoodie pockets. "Yeah."

The nurse flashed him a polite smile, before walking into Frank's room.

gee: hey

mwheezy: you changed your nickname finally

gee: yea

gee: anyways frank and I talked

mwheezy: how's he doing?

gee: I mean, he's obvi still recovering but im not really sure how he took what I said

mwheezy: you told him you love him?

gee: yeah.

gee: it's gonna be a couple days until he gets out and he goes to therapy the same day

mwheezy: did he tell you anything?

gee: what do you mean?

mwheezy: anything important? idk

gee: he didn't say if he still loves me, if that's what you're wondering

gee: but he said a lot of stuff, and I think that's gonna stay between us

mwheezy: understandable. im on my way home with pete, btw

gee: not texting and driving I hope

mwheezy: nah we're stopped, picking up food

gee: get me some hoe

gee: Frank says hi by the way, forgot to tell you

mwheezy: aw

gee: anyways i'll see you at home. stay safe okay? i love you mikes

mwheezy: you be safe too dude,, no texting and driving

gee: 👍😎👍

mwheezy: why are you so lame
