(Sequel to Never Let Go) Mia may have all these amazing powers, but she's lost as ever. With the world weighing on her shoulders, will she be able to save everyone, or will she crack under pressure?
"You..." I glare. "Umm, Happy Birthday..." The person says awkwardly.
"Hey, who is thaa- WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Tyler yells.
"I'm here to apologize..." They say awkwardly. "You wouldn't even need to apologize if you weren't so stupid, Sophia..." Tyler says spitefully.
I realized that Tyler is the only friend that really knows the incident from the night before. Since he's my cousin and all. I could hear my friends whispering in the background.
I take a deep breath. "Come in!" I smile shakily. "WHAT?!" Tyler yells. I moved out of the way, and I let her in.
My family members who knows gives her spiteful looks. Everyone else there was a little confused.
"Mia, can I talk to you in the other room?" Tyler whispers. "Sure." I say
"How are you going to let her in your house?!" Tyler shouts. I shrug. "She bullied you and then shot you! How do you know she didn't come to finish the the job?" Tyler implies. I shrug again.
"Everyone deserves a second chance, even her. I know she's actually sorry, I could see it in her eyes." I reply calmly. "But she laughed at you when you got slushied!" "You did too..." I shot back.
"You're way too nice..." He mutters. I chuckle at his comment and we walk back in the room.
Sophia hands a gift, and I sat down and opened it. It was a bunch sugar cookies in a box. The cookies said "I'm sorry" with red frosting.
"They're written in blood red frosting!" Tyler whispers frantically in my ear. I roll my eyes and I hug Sophia.

Mia took a bite into one of the cookies. I notice Sophia smirk at me.
"See, I'm fin-" Mid sentence Mia starts holding her neck. She starts coughing hysterically, and she falls to the floor. I see my Aunt Kara and Uncle Mike's expression change quickly.
I run up to Mia, and she bursts out into laughter. "You seriously thought I was poisoned!" She laughs. I give her a salty look which make her laugh even more.

I finished opening up all of the gifts. Then my mom and dad called me over. They handed me a tiny box and I go back to where I was sitting.
"Why is the box moving..." I ask them. "Just open it!" I mom insists.
I open the box to see the most precious thing ever...
"A PUPPY!" I screech.

It was a Mixes Miniature Poodle! I pick her up, and I hold her. All my friends start squealing and I start to tear up.
I run up to my parents and I hug them while tears are falling down my cheeks. "She's perfect, thank you so much!" I say while sniffling.
"What's her name?" I ask them. "You decide!" My dad chuckles.
I think for a long moment. "I want to name her Ellie!" I smile.
"Well I'm getting tired.." My Aunt Maggie says while yawning. "I agree with you on that one.." Mr. Winn says.
"Well thank you guys for coming!" I smile. I then went and hugged my friends.
"Woah girl, chill.." Tyler states. "This is a sleepover party!" Chrysanthe chuckles.
"IT IS?!" I smile. I turn around and I looked at my parents. They nodded while smiling.
So all the parents left and it was just my friends and Sophia.
"Well, I have to go home now.. Thanks for forgiving me." Sophia says awkwardly. "Do you wanna stay?!" I ask her.
"I don't know..." She says quietly. "Pleeeaaassseeeee" I put on my pout face. She stares at me for a moment. "Fine, let me ask my mom.." She says finally giving in.
While she's doing that I get some snacks from the kitchen and I turn on a movie. And Sophia's mom finally replies.
"I can stay!" She smiles. So I pause the movie and we all change into our pajamas.
I have a cute pink unicorn onesie, Tyler has Batman onesie, Chrysanthe has a giraffe onesie, Rain has a black cat onesie, and Sophia has a pink bunny onesie.
After we finished the movie we decided to play Truth or Dare.
We all sat in a circle, and we decided to go in a clockwise direction. Rain went first in asking.
"Chrysanthe Truth or Dare?" She asks her. "Dare!" She says while smiling. "I dare you to text Zain milk my udders" She chuckles.
Zain is a kid we all went to Middle School with, and Zain and Chrysanthe dated. It lasted from the end of 6th grade to freshman year of high school.
"No! I'll do literally any other dare.." She sighs. But Rain doesn't care. She grabs Chrysanthe's phone and started text him.
Chrysanthe🙈: Milk my udders👅🍼
Zain🕹🕹: Wtf😂
Chrysanthe🙈: I'm so so sorry Zain...
"Next person!" I announce.
"Sophia, truth or dare?" Chrysanthe asks. "Dare." She smirks. "I dare you to stick 3 ice cubes down your shirts and leave them there till they melt." She chuckles. So Sophia walks into the kitchen, grabs 3 cubes and stuffs it down her bra.
She shivers a little bit. "Mia, truth or dare." She asks me. "Truth!" I smile.
I honestly just don't want to get up and do anything. I'm being really lazy right now.
"Is it true that you actually kissed my boyfriend..." She smirks
