Omg! How could I forget my own birthday?! But wait, it's all my ex best friends and cousin..
All my friends come over and hug me, and I shun them. "Hey what's wrong?" Chrysanthe asks me.
Are you kidding me.
"Only the fact that you guys weren't talking to me for the whole day, you lied to me saying you had plans when you were really at the mall, I got slushied and all you did was laugh, and Rain couldn't even get my dang name right!" I yelled.
Everyone there started staring at me with wide eyes. All my friends looked at me ashamed.
"We only did it for the surprise. You know we all suck at keeping secrets, and Chrys almost told you that moment in the morning. Those times when you walked up to us, we were planning the party. And when we were at the mall, we were getting you a birthday gift..." Rain says awkwardly.
"Oh..." I whisper. My cheeks started to go pink. "Oh and sorry about the cousin thing I said earlier, I threw you off a little too well." Tyler chuckled awkwardly. "And what about the slushy thing?" I ask.
"Oh, that was just funny!" Tyler laughs. Everyone starts giving Tyler bold looks. "Too soon?" He says awkwardly. I burst out into laughter, and I pull all my friends into a hug.
"Well let's get this party started!" Chrysanthe says while making awkward dance moves.
"I would love to, but my clothes are stained from the red slushy, and I have nothing to wear.." I say awkwardly.
"We knew this would happen, so we got you this!" Rain says pulling out a small gift bag.
All my friends start dragging me to the closest bathroom. It takes a while because the mansion we live in is so big. And at this point, we're out of the room with our parents.
"Damn, this mansion is so big! Where's the dang bathroom?!" Chrysanthe states. "Well obviously it would be big, Mia's mom won like 5 Pulitzer Prizes for journalism!" Rain replies.
"She only won 4!" I chuckle. "And those 4 awards are the more important than all our lives combined! Your mother is successful!" Chrysanthe chuckles. "Can't argue there." Tyler laughs.
After five minutes they finally found a bathroom. "You realize I could have just brought you guys here, right?" I state. "Yeah, but that's no fun!" Chrysanthe laughs. "Now go try on the outfit!" Rain adds.

I looked at the outfit and it was way too much. I tried it on anyways then I walked out. All the girls were cheering and Tyler was laughing.
"Don't you guys think this is a little much for a casual party?" I ask them. "Nope" "Nah Uh" "Nada" They all reply.
"Now Chrysanthe is going to do your hair, while Tyler and I do your makeup!" Rain smiles.
"Why is Tyler doing makeup?" Chrysanthe questions. "Just because I am a boy, doesn't mean I can't do makeup!" Tyler argued.
"Tyler does a lot of cosplay" I whisper to Chrys while chuckling.
After we finished the hair and makeup we go back to the living room. We played Just Dance and a bunch of other games. After that we sang happy birthday.
Chrysanthe started hugging me after they sang. "Here, they Birthday girl gets to cut the cake!" My dad says handing me a knife.
I cut the cake and I hand people pieces. "Let zem eat cake!" I laugh. "Isn't that what Queen Maria said?" Rain asked me. "Yeah I guess." I chuckle. "Let's be real Mia would be a great Queen" Chrysanthe chuckles sarcastically.
By the way when Kara and Mon-El are speaking with their mind like it will be in italics.
I notice my parents give each other a serious look. "I feel bad keeping this secret from her." I hear my dad say sadly. "I know, but it's for own safety.."
"Who's safety?" I ask them. Everyone at the table gives me a strange look. And my parents give me an ever stranger one.
"What are you talking about?" Chrysanthe asks me. I feel my face turn pink. "Nothing, I don't know..." I say awkwardly. Everyone shrugs it off but my parents. They continue to stare at me.
"Umm, Mike can I talk to you in the other room.." My mom says still staring at me. "Uh, sure..." My dad says repeating my mom's actions. They slowly back out the room.
"Hey, when are we going to open the gifts?" Tyler asks. "I guess after we eat." I reply.
So all my friends ate their cake quickly. But the adults take their time. Soon we all finish and we go to the living room to open gifts.
I open Tyler's gift first. It's a very old black and blue lead pencil.
Of course to any normal person, this seems like a weird gift. But hey Tyler and I aren't normal.
Flash Back to Middle School on the Bus...
Tyler kept getting on my nerves. "I SERIOUSLY HAVE NO WEAKNESS!" Tyler yells while I'm sitting on him. "Martin, do you have a lead pencil?" I ask him with a smirk on my face.
"Aghhh, I forgot about that!" Tyler yells.
You guys are probably confused. We have three superheroes in our city. Supergirl, Guardian, and Valor. Valor is a Daxamite, and a Daxamite's weakness is lead. And Tyler says he's Valor's son.
"C'mon Martin, Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee!" I begged him. He thought about it for a moment, then he handed me it.
"NUUUUU! MARTIN I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!" He whines. So I pretended to stab Tyler with lead.
"AGHHH IM GETTING WEAKER!" He yells. Then the bus starts moving, and I actually stabbed him.
Martin and burst out laughing while Tyler gave us dirty looks. Everyone on the bus was staring at us at this point, and I fell out of the seat laughing. Tyler then starts laughing at me, and then I went and sat on him again, crushing him until I got off.
End of flashback...
I ran up and hugged Tyler. "Mia, I can't breathe!" I then heard a crack and I put him down.
"Oops, sorry!" I giggled. "Thanks Tyler..." I laugh. Everyone looks at us strangely but I don't care.
I open a bunch more gifts, and then the door bell rang.
I went and opened it and you would not believe who it was...
