Terrible Day

I feel bright lights shining on me. And I immediately shoot up. I'm laying in my bed, and the sun is shining on me. I remember the night before, after I passed out I guess my parents just put me back in bed.

I put on my glasses and I walk down to the kitchen. My mom and dad aren't here, so I just made myself some cereal.

As I was eating I got a text from my mom.

Hey sweetie. Your dad and I won't be home for a while, see you once you're home from school. 😘

I looked at the clock and I saw the time. It was 7:40! AGHH IM GOING TO BE LATE!

The next thing I know I'm in my bathroom. "What just happened?" I asked myself. I shrug it off and I got in the shower. Once I got dressed I changed into my clothes.

I looked at the time again considering I'm probably like an hour late. But it was still 7:40.. So I went downstairs to wait for Tyler.

About 5 minutes later, he waltz through the door.

"Wow you're actually ready on time." He says sarcastically. "Yeah, okay Tyler..." I state.

We started walking to school silently, it was just really awkward and I don't know why.

Once I got to school, everything got really loud. The bell rang and I covered my ears from the pain. Then it happened again. Everything was blue and I was seeing skeletons.

I started heaving, trying to make it all stop. Tyler started talking with someone but I didn't notice, I was looking at everything around me.

"Hey Mia..." as someone says that I immediately snap out of the state I was in.

"Oh, hi Chrysanthe." I smile back. "So, uh how are you today?" She asks. "Fine I guess, why?" I question.

"Oh no reason." She smiles awkwardly, then runs away.

And that's what seemed to happen the whole day. All my friends stared at me awkwardly, like I had ten heads. I was kind of a loner today. Even Tyler wasn't really talking to me, and I am honestly getting tired of it.

At the end of school...

I see all my friends talking to each other, and as I approach them they all go silent.

"Hey guys!" I smile. "Oh, hey Nia..." Rain says awkwardly. "So guys, I was hoping we could go to the movies today. There's a really good movie coming out and I was hoping that you guys would-" "I'm sorry Mia, we can't go..." Chrysanthe interrupts.

"Oh yeah.. Chrysanthe and I have dance today." Rain says. "And my mom is taking me to the station today." Tyler adds.

"Oh, okay.." I say sadly. "We'll see you tomorrow Nia..." Rain smiles. "Okay bye.." I say sadly.

The group starts talking again as I walk away. "It's Mia..." I mumble sadly.

As I'm walking, I see Nick and Ryder pointing at me. Ryder hands Nick his drink, and then Nick starts to walk towards me.

I start to walk faster to get away from him, but he only gets closer. "I believe the slushy missed you yesterday." He laughs from behind.

I turn around to look how far away he was from me, and I end up bumping into some.

It was Ryder.

I try to get around him but he holds me in place, until Nick was right behind me.

And right at that second I felt cold red slushy fall all over my head, and down my shirt.

I look around to see people snickering at me. I even see my friends start to giggle. A crowd starts forming around me, every one still laughing.

The laughing starts getting louder and louder, I started screaming again. My hands to me ears, trying to get rid of the noise but failing.

I still feel Ryder holding onto my arm. I use my other arm to grab his, I flip him over, slamming him into the ground. I'm still crying and my head is pounding.

I push people out of the way with ease. And I start running. I close my eyes for a sec, and the next thing I know, I'm in an ally way.

My shoes had sparks coming out of them. I freak out and I immediately took them off. And I look around me, things keep going in slow motion.

I then look down at my hand to see it vibrating, and it wouldn't stop. After 30 seconds more seconds of it vibrating, it finally came to a halt.

I realized that I'm still wet, so I decided to go home and change my clothes, and I got there in what felt like 3 seconds. I tried to open the door but it was locked. And my key was in the kitchen with my phone...

"Why does this day hate me..." I grumble.

I started to walk to the mall to get a new outfit.

Once I got there I walked into Forever 21, to look at clothes. And I saw some very familiar people.

I went to get closer look and I saw Tyler, Chrysanthe, and Rain!

"I thought you guys were busy!" I yell at them. They all gave me shocking looks.

"What are you doing here?" Chrysanthe asks awkwardly.

"Are you kidding me! You were all lying to me! And here I thought you were my friends!" I say sadly.

"Well technically we're cousins.." Tyler adds. I give him a mean look, and then I ran out of the store with tears in my eyes.

At this point I didn't care my clothes were soaked. I wasn't going to let that stop me. I went to the movie theater in the mall and I bought a ticket and some snacks.

After I finished the movie (which was terrible), I thought I would try to get into my house again. It was now dark outside, and I am officially tired of this day.

I checked the door again, and now it's unlocked, so I open the door. The whole house was dark so I turned on the lights. And I let a horrifying scream as I looked inside...
