(Sequel to Never Let Go) Mia may have all these amazing powers, but she's lost as ever. With the world weighing on her shoulders, will she be able to save everyone, or will she crack under pressure?
I was fighting the bitch, when a teacher pulled me off of her. I tried to go at her again but the teacher practically drags me to the principal's office.
The principal looks at me very angrily. But I don't actually care.
"You know, we're very peaceful here at National City High. And students like you, are the reason why we get bad reputations." She states. I roll my eyes.
"Sophia, what happened? You're normally a very good student, average grades, so why the fighting?" She asks.
"I only fight, when I need to." I state, as the principal sighs.
"Look, I'll let you off with a warning, since you usually behave well. But if you get into another fight on school grounds..." She exclaims.
"Okay." I put on a fake smile, as I walk out to go my next class.

I decided to walk to the office and call my dad to pick me up. So I waited in the office for him.
And after 10 minutes of staff staring at me, he finally comes.
"Hey Miaaaa, what happened." He asks. "I'll tell you in the car..." I reply. So we silently walk to the car.
"Okay, now can you tell me what happened?" He asks again. "I, um, fell down the steps in our school. It was pretty bad fall obviously..."
"You know, you do the same thing as your mother. When you lie, you get this little crinkle." He replies. My face turns a light red.
"That's seriously what happened!" I lie again.
"You seriously get a puffed up face, a black eye, and bruises on your arms and legs from falling down the steps?" He asks slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, again it was a pretty bad fall..." I reply. "Fine." He says finally letting the topic go.
We soon arrive at the house, and I go straight up to my room and I turn on the T.V. And the news channel was on.
"Supergirl just stopped an acid spitting alien, and saved civilians at the park!" The news woman says.
Wow, that's a bad one. I mean an acid spitting alien! But of course Supergirl saved the day! It would be so cool to see her in person...
I heard the door open, so I ran downstairs. It was my mom, and she looked pretty tired.
"Why aren't you at school?!" She immediately asks me. "And what happened to you?" She adds.
"Oh, uh. I fell down the stairs at school and dad came to get me.." I say awkwardly. The thing about my mom is she's pretty bad at telling when I'm lying.
She immediately rushes into the kitchen and grabs an ice pack from the freezer.
"Here, put this on your eye, it will help it swell down." She says while handing me the ice pack.
I put it on the my eye, and I felt instant relief. A few minutes later the door opens again and Tyler walks in.
"Wait why are you out of school?!" I ask him. "Half day, teacher meeting.." he says out of breath.
I take the ice pack off my eye, then I walk over to him.
"Damn, for someone who just got there ass kicked, you sure look good." He states. "What are you talking about?!" I ask while chuckling.
"There isn't a scratch on you!" He states. I run over to the mirror, and I look into it.
My black eye was gone, my face went back to normal, and all my bruises were gone as well.
"What the heck?!" I guess the ice pack really does work!
Well since you're completely fine, we're going early birthday shopping!" Tyler says while walking in. "Sounds like fun!" I smile.
"DAD IM GOING TO THE MALL TO THE MALL!" I yell up the steps.
"KAY, HAVE FUN!" He says extremely loudly. I swear, I feel my ears ringing.
"Why are you letting her go to the mall? She's injured!" "I don't know, she just wants to have fun..." I hear my parents say.
"Tyler, did you hear what they said?" I asked him. "Who?"
"Never mind..." I say. I guess it's just in my head...
After Tyler and I went in about 3 stores, my Aunt Maggie shows up and takes him home.
I needed to go into one more store, so I went in there. Since my necklace broke, I have to find a new one.
Let's just say my parents are very persistent in making sure I have it on. I never knew why though. It's kinda strange if I'm being honest.
I actually found a very close look alike. But instead of there isn't any rose on it.

Since it was the best I can do, I bought it and I went home.
And I know a short cut to get home from the mall. Yes it's in an ally way, but I'll be fine. I always take this road.
As I was walking I saw 3 people approaching me. They seemed familiar, but I could only see their shadows. Once I got closer I saw Sophia, with a gun. And it was pointed right at my head...

"Hey Maggie, have you seen Mia?" I asked her over the phone. "Yeah, when I picked the kid up from the mall, she said she wanted to stay and go into another stores." She states.
Of course she did... "Okay, thanks. Talk to you later.." "Okay, bye!" And I hang up.
"Mon-El?" "Yeah?"
"Mia is still at the mall, I'm going to get her.." "Okay, have fun..."
And with that I take off into the sky. I reach the mall, and I use my super speed to go around it, in 5 seconds.
She's not in the building...
I go to the path she usually goes on, and I see her, and three other people. It's James' daughter Sophia, Eve's daughter Shelby, and Maxwell Lord's daughter Jasmine...
I see Sophia pull the trigger, and a bullet flying out of the gun, going straight towards Mia's head. I use my speed to try and get in front of her.
