(Sequel to Never Let Go) Mia may have all these amazing powers, but she's lost as ever. With the world weighing on her shoulders, will she be able to save everyone, or will she crack under pressure?
Hi. My name is Mia Alexandra Harper Danvers. Now I'm pretty sure you've heard my parent's story, but just like them, I have a story of my own. And it started the moment they put that necklace on my neck.

I woke up to see sun light shining in my eyes, practically blinding me. I hear my alarm clock beeping, so I press the snooze button and I get back in my covers.
I was almost back asleep when my mom barged into my room. "Are you seriously going back to sleep?" She asks sarcastically. I put my pillow on my to hide from the sunlight.
"Get up! You have school this morning!" She nags. I sigh, put on my glasses, then hop out of my bed. I follow my mom into the kitchen to see my dad cooking French Toast.
He slides over a plate as I sit down on the stool by the counter. "Wow, you look grumpy..." He states. "Great observation!" I grumble. He laughs.
"I'm guessing Kara forced you to get out of bed?" He exclaims. "Pretty much." I chuckle.
I start eating the food on the plate. My dad usually cooks our meals. Trust me, you do not want to try her cooking!

"So, your nam-birthday is coming up tomorrow!" I says while stuttering.
"Were you about to say name day?!" Mia chuckles. I guess I'm not used to Earthly customs.
On Daxam and Krypton, you don't really celebrate birthdays. You celebrate Name Day. It's when you get your name, and become a you become a full member of you House. But humans don't do that.
After Mia finished her breakfast, she rinsed her plate off and ran back to her room to get ready, as I clean up the rest of the kitchen.

After I got out of the shower, I put my hair in a messy bun, put my glasses back on, and I started looking for an outfit to wear.
I put on a blue and white striped shirt, black pants, beige shoes, and a scarf. And of course the necklace that I never take off.
It's really important to me, I have never ever taken it off, and I never will either.

I ran downstairs to see me cousin Tyler waiting in the living room. We walk with each other everyday to school.
"Damn, what took you so long?!" He laughed. "Sorry Tyler, I don't just wake up with this face!" I chuckle, he rolls his eyes and we walk out the door.
