Athana and the guardsmen at the gate are beyond exhausted. They have been given a break in a while and the effects are visible. It was another quiet day at the estate and even the wind could be heard. Archer is getting the healing needed, but it may not save him. No one is losing hope, they continue to fight on.

"Ma'am, when do we get a break? I cannot even keep my eyes open." said a guardsman. His eyes started to droop, but he forced himself to stay awake. Athana walked over to the guardsman and gently push him, it was a gesture to keep him awake. "I don't know, we all need some rest." Everyone nodded in agreement and stared out into the distance.

Harry walked into the courtyard and the guardsmen nodded. "Good morning, master." The curly haired lad grinned and stepped toward Athana. He tightly wrapped his cloak around himself, it was quite cold outside. "How is everyone doing out here?" Athana looked at him curiously, no one usually asked about them at the gate.

"We're exhaused. I don't know how long we can go without sleep, it's greatly needed." Harry didn't have time to respond to her statement, he noticed something in the sky. "What is that?" He pointed at the sky and three figures could be seen. The guardsmen attempted to identify the figures, but everyone knew who it was.

Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael landed in the courtyard and it got the attention of the estate. "Michael!" Harry jumped into the archangel's arms and the embrace was heart warming. The angels were always soft around their father's creations. "It's got to see you, Harry. How is everything going?"

The angels wrapped their cloaks around themselves, it was used to cover their wings. Michael and Gabriel were dressed in black cloaks, Raphael was dressed in a silver cloak. "I wish I could say it was good, but it's not. Archer and Hawk are seriously wounded and Beno was killed." Michael said something under his breath, but no one could hear it.

The archangel said a blessing for the decreased vampire, but wouldn't allow others hear it. Harry escorted the angels to the infirmary, which was partly the servant's quarters. It housed the wounded vampires and the servants, who have greatly served the estate. Louis increased their food and conditions for their work.

They stepped into a room with two wounded individuals, those being Archer and Hawk. The raven haired lad was crying over the bowman's body, who was sleeping at the moment. The others still haven't been noticed by Zayn. "I'm so sorry, I should have done more." He couldn't contain his emotions anymore, the tears took complete control.

Raphael walked next to Zayn and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I will heal Archer and Hawk." He nodded and left his boyfriend's side, but not before giving him a kiss. "I love you, Archie." Everyone left the room except for the archangel and the healing process began. The process wasn't going to be quick nor fast.

The others went to the dining hall, where Louis and the others were. They greeted one another and took a seat at the table. "I have spoken to our father. He will not allow us to help you in combat, but we can assist in other ways. Our knowledge and skill should be useful to your cause." Everyone nodded in agreement except for Serge.

"Why are we allowing angels and humans in our council? Vampires don't toil with them. We have always stood on our own!" Louis sighed and was about to speak, but Gabriel interrupted him. "You speak as if we care. I have killed more vampires than I can remember. I lost brothers and sisters, who assisted you in defeating Romulus and his forces."

Gabriel stepped closer toward Serge and continued. "I have observed you for a time. You previously served as a guardsman and only recently gained this position. Nevertheless, you have taken a stance against Harry. Why is that?" Serge thought about his response before speaking, he didn't want to say anything regrettable.
