Harry: Harry always tended to trip over his own two feet, long and lanky in stature. This time he'd tripped over what you expected was a gust of wind. You couldn't help but laugh after realizing that he was fine, his own laughter filling the air as he turned onto his back, his hands clutching his stomach. "Oh, you think it's funny?" He smirked, one of his hands reaching out to push into the crease behind your knee, making your leg give out as you fell with him, landing on top of him with a gasp. Green eyes met your own and you couldn't help but blush as Harry pushed a strand of hair behind your ear, lost in each other for just a moment as you stood back up, holding out a helping hand for your best friend.
Louis: You hadn't been friends for long before you'd begun to think of Louis as being more than a friend. His ability to provide empathy with you and the constant laughter you shared had him deemed as your best friend. Louis had never been over to you house, most of your outings being just that, out with other people and friend surrounding you. It wasn't until you were alone that Louis really saw you. He leaned on his elbow, lying in your bed and scrolling through his phone while you occupied the bathroom, removing your makeup and dressing in lounge clothes. You'd been immersed in a movie that was on TV, a comedy that had you laughing harder than you ever had, your mouth wide and your eyes squinted. Louis looked over at you, really seeing his best friend for the first time, completely as yourself, your eyes crinkling at the corners without foundation to smooth the lines and the planes of your face as you smiled, your hair pulled back from your face. "Wow, I think this is the most beautiful I've ever seen you." He confessed, gasping a little as he realized he'd made his declaration aloud, your fingers moving to brush a stray hair out of your face, blushing as that was the most wonderful compliment you could ever receive as right now, you were the girl you had let no one see and he thought you were all the more beautiful.
Niall: There was something so personal about the gift and it seemed to represent something more than a friendship. A smile drew on your lips as your fingers rubbed against the velvet box, a slight creak as it opened. Hanging on a simple gold chain was a pendant, formed in the shape of a guitar pick. After turning it over in your fingers you noticed that three letters had been stamped into the pick, NJH. "Do you like it?" Niall finally spoke up, taking it to see for himself as he stood up, walking over to the mirror. You didn't even have to answer, the way your eyes lit up being enough to confirm that you absolutely loved his present. "Come on over. I'll put it on." He comment, though he knew you didn't need his help, standing behind you, his fingers grazing your neck as he hooked the clasp, a grin on his face as he looked at you with his initials resting on your chest. "It's just so I'll always be with you, no matter where in the world I am." He commented, a moment too romantic for just two best friends, though that's all you were.
Liam: Liam never spent the night at your house, wanting to keep things platonic between the both of you, having experienced the way romantic feelings can get in the way of a friendship before. As your best friend, it was his intention to keep things that way, wanting nothing but to keep the strong bond you had as is. Liam had been over for one of your usual nights, starting with you doing a bit of homework and him introducing you to a few songs they'd been working on, ending with a quick movie. As you hadn't seen each other in a while, you'd planned to spend as much time as possible together while he was on break. With time passing quickly Liam fell asleep, not long before you, his arm around you, holding you as close to him as possible as your head rested on his chest. The night became a little too intimate for best friends as Liam woke up, allowing you to remain in his embrace before you had to give an emotional goodbye, time apart that would have the both of you being in each others hold again.
Zayn: Zayn sometimes tended to complain of loneliness, but you understood with the lift he lived. Constant travel and work kept him busy though he'd always managed to make time for you. "I just don't think that I could make the time for anyone else. When I do get a girl I want to be everything she needs and with my career, I don't know if I can do that." He shook his head. "Well, you make time for me. If you find a girl you love, you'll make time for her." You replied, Zayn still frustrated. "I just want someone who will understand and still love me even if I can't talk for hours every day. Someone who will be supportive of me and wish me luck because you know how nervous I get before a big show." He sighed, his and your mind piecing together as you met each other's eyes. In just a couple of sentences, he'd just described you, the both of you only thinking, I could be that girl for you and You're that girl for me.
