"Momma"Alicia came in my room as I fed the twins. Hungry girls.
"What's wrong?"I said.
"Someone here"she said while holding her doll.
"Who is it?"I got up holding both twins. I put the twins in their cribs in the room. I fix myself up and walk with Alicia to the door. There was a man with business suit on.
"Hi, are you her mother?"he ask.
"Yes"I said.
"Well we want to give you this"he handed me this paper. I red it and saw something that said court day for Alicia.
"Who is this from?"I ask. My heart was thumping hard.
"From uhhhh"he look at the paper. "Her name is diamond"
I slam the door in his face. Diamond ain't getting her child back.
"Mommy what's going on?"Alicia ask me.
"Nothing baby"I kiss her cheek. "Go look for daddy"she ran off going to the garage. Maybe that's where he is.
I walk around the living room looking at the ground. Maria came out the kitchen. "You okay señora"
"Yes I'm fine"I smile at her. She walk towards the dinning room.
"Hey baby"Mario kiss my lips. Alicia grab my hand. "What's wrong?"
"Diamond taking us to court over Alicia"
"What?"he look at me weird.
"Here's the papers"I gave it to him. He look at it tilting his head.
"What the fuck did she plan?"he said gritted his teeth.
"She wants Alicia back. I'm not giving my baby up"I said.
"Ima see what I can do"he said. Just then his cousins walk in the door. "There y'all are. I need some help with something"
"What is it boss?"the dude said.
