Week later

Christa's pov

Renzo locked himself in his room after that mission happened.

I really feel bad for him. I know it has been tough losing Annie again.

Now all he does it sleep, shower, and visit Annie at the prison.

They cut her legs and arms deep enough to regenerate slower. She isn't depressed as much as him.

All she does in her cell block is stare at a blankly. Who knows what she's thinking.

"Renzo! I made you dinner!" I said, placing the tray of pasta in front of his door.

"No." I heard him from his room.

I rolled my eyes.

"Please, Renzo. You haven't eaten, you'll turn like a skeleton."

He opens the door. I let out a gasp when I saw his eyes puffy and red, Dark circles around his eyes, and cuts on his wrists.

"Please. Eat."

"Come in." he said, and the both of us took a seat on his bed.

I watched Renzo slowly eat his food and finished it up.

"T-thank you, Christa." He said grumpily.

I took hold of his hands.

"Why are you cutting?"

"Because, the pain feels so good." He lightly chuckled.

I hugged him tight, causing the both of us to fall.

"R-Renzo, I hate it when you're acting like this! stop please. I miss the happy and sweet Renzo!"

"I still a-"

"No you're not! Come back, please!"

I felt him hug back.

"I'm trying, trying to get rid if what happened."

"Well, try harder!"

"You haven't been sleeping, eating, or talking to anyone else. Just stop this drama!"

"But Annie-"

I grabbed his collar and pulled him close.

"Listen you depressing shit! I'm tired of your damn excuses! I'll be there for you, I promise. So, stop crying like a baby!"

He looked at me with wide eyes, but he gave me a small smile.

"You're right. " I loosened my grip, and we both laid on the bed.

"I'm so sorry, Christa. I'm sorry. I promise you a start all over thing, and that's what I will do!"

I gave him a smile, and snuggled close to him.

"Thank you."

He hugged me back.

"Again, what will I do without you?"

Renzo's pov:

"Alright brats, we're getting a new best joining our squad."

"Really? Just one?" I asked.

"Well, this person graduated top class early. We actually got no choice but to put this guy here."

"Hi! I'm Simon!" The Strawberry blonde boy said with a grin.

"Hi simon." We all greeted the new cadet in our group.

"He's a cutie!" Sasha giggled.

"Simon, what's your last name?"

"Simon Hartman! Yours?"

"Renzo Wolfram."
We both shake hands.

He's been with us for three days, and he's already good in our squad. He great with the military police.

"Renzo, can you get me the water for the horses?" Simon asked as the both of us were at the stables.

"No problem." I said with a smile.

Days have been great. Christa and I are working on our relationship, Simon is a great partner, and Annie... I haven't seen her that often.

I smiled to myself, everything's perfect.

"Hehe. You're funny." I heard Christa and Simon giggled at each other. Those two have been spending time together. I dropped the
Water bucket, and stared at Simon angrily.

I wrapped my arms around Christa's waist

"Hey Simon, did you know that me and Christa are going to get married!" I said with a overjoyed chuckle.

"That's great.. that's great." He said with a smile.

Shit, I couldn't crack him.

"What's wrong, Renzo?" Christa said, as we prepared to go to sleep.

"I-I'm jealous. A bit." Felt heat creeped through my cheeks.

She hugged me from behind.

"Haha, silly! Why would I dump you? You're perfect and always have."

I smiled to her, and pressed a quick kiss in her lips.

"I think you're perfect." I said in a daze.

We looked at each other for a moment, and heard someone knock on our door.

"A-ano.. Renzo can we talk?" Simon asked.

"Umm sure." We both walked outside.

"I have a problem."

"What is it?"

"I-I'm scared of the dark. My room doesn't have a lamp."

I let out a chuckle. Maybe he was innocent after all.

"Don't worry buddy. I'll get you one!"

"Thanks. You know I'm glad meeting a good person like you, can I give you a hug?"

He hugged me in a tight embrace.

"A hugger huh?" I chuckled again.

"You know what else I should say.." Simon said with a joyful tone.

"What is I-" my eyes widened. I looked down to my stomach, and found a knife, blood spreading.

I looked at Simon, who was looking at me with a cruel face.

"Heard you were doing shit with my sister, Renzo."

"N-no.. it can't be."

I fell down to the floor.

Simon is Annie's brother?

Christa's pov

I walked outside to find those two. I gasped when I saw Renzo on the floor bleeding.

"C-christa.. look out!" Renzo moaned, reaching for me.

Before I could scream, I felt a cloth wrapped around my mouth.

"Do something rash , and I'll kill your boyfriend." I nodded.

"Good girl. Okay, let's go to the forest." we both walked deep into the forest, where nobody wouldn't find us.

We left Renzo.. in a life or death situation
