Bloody spills

I woke up. I felt myself in a small, old, yet comfy bed. I looked out around my surrounds, finding myself in a dark room. I felt light footsteps coming down the room.

It was Annie.

Was this a dream or reality?

"A-Annie?" I reached a hand out. She approached me closer, and sat next to me in the bed.

"It's been long, Renzo." She said with a small smile.

I let out a gulp. I stared at her closely, before I pulled her into a big hug.

I buried my face into her dirty, old military police jacket.

"A-Annie." I whimpered.

She pulled my chin to face me.

"Renzo. I missed you so much."

I looked with her with tears of joy.
I was finally able to be with Annie again.

"Me too."

I wrapped my arm firmly around her waist, as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

We both stared into each other's eyes.

"Kiss me." She simply said.

The same words she said on that night.

I didn't hesitate to press my lips against hers. I missed those cold, yet so soft lips of hers.

I rolled my tongue into her mouth, causing her to moan. She tugged in my cloak, making the kiss deeper. I pulled her down to the bed, and snuggled deep into her chest.

"How'd I get healed?" I asked, scratching my back.

"I used all of my regenerating powers on you ." She said. I couldn't notice, but see her shiver.

"Are you cold?" I asked.

"It's just a side effect, Renzo. I get cold if I use my powers so much."

She gripped into her shoulders because of how cold she was. I smirked lightly, and took of my cloak and gave it to her.

She blushed lightly, but put it on.

I wrapped my arms around her, and held her tight.

Our noses touches and I watched her rest her head against my neck.

"Where are we exactly, Annie." She opened her eyes, and looked up to me.

"I use to live here."

My eyes widened.

"I see. If you lived here, where are your parents?"

She took a moment to think, until she replied,

"I killed them." I lightly pushed her away, and got into a sitting position.

"W-what do you mean?"

"I'm sorry... These powers made me this way."

"I'm not such a nice person, Renzo." She added.

Christa...

She was right all this time. Annie wasn't a good person after all.

I got out of the bed, and saw my gear on the floor.

I quickly put it in, and looked back at Annie.

"You... What changed you?"

"You." She said, making my heart shatter.

"W-what did I ever do to you?!" I exclaimed, I started to get sweaty palms.

"You didn't save me!" She screamed.

I stood quiet to hear what she had to say.

I readied my blade in case she tried to do something rash.

"Back in that Female Titan case, you didn't bother help me escape! We could've lived happily outside the walls!"

"You know it's dangerous out here. Titans can find us any minute!" I yelled back, threatening tears out.

"It could've been better! Could have been better for him!"

I stopped. Confused.

"Who's him?" I muttered. Was she cheating on me.

"Like you don't know."

"W-were you cheating on me, Annie?"

She snapped.

"No! I would never do that, unlike you! You got with that stupid girl Christa! I tried to kill her, but you got in the way!"

"Don't change the subject, Annie. Tell me who's this him?"

Her angry expression turned and calmed, and she pointed at her stomach.

"Our child."

Tears stream from your eyes.

"N-no you're lying. You never told me we had a chi-"

"On that night, when we made love, I-I got pregnant. But, since you didn't help me get out of the situation, you decided to help the others to capture me! Ever since I was stuck in that ice chamber, OUR child suffered every day." I dropped the blade, and fell to the floor.

"W-why? Why Didn't You Tell Me?!"

"I just couldn't tell you. But, don't worry... He died."

She got up to me, and took the blade from me.

"What are you doing?" My eyes widened.

She cut into her stomach, letting out her blood and guts out.

"Annie! Stop, please!"

"She out both hands into her stomach, and took something out.

I let tears out when I saw him... Our dead child.

She cut the cord, and let the dead body fall to the clear, leaving a bloody mess in the floor.

I ran to her, and gripped on her bloody hands.

"Why did you do that?!" I yelled at her face.

"Why'd you care? I'll be fine, since I can regenerate. You should worry about her." She said pointing at the window.

It was Christa and the others coming to us.

Annie kissed me in the cheek.

"This time... I'm actually going to kill all of them. And when I do, we can start all over again." I stood there shocked.

Was she the Annie I knew before?

She kissed my jaw and up to my lips.

"I'm going to make you regret being with Christa. I promise you that."

"Make a choice. Come with me and I'll let them live or I'll kill them and take you forcely." She said before leaving me alone with the dead baby.

I pulled him into an embrace.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I let my tears flow.

"Things could've been better, little one."

This is all my fault.

I feel bad for Renzo. He's been through a lot.
