You had gone out on three dates with Nathan, and you were really starting to like him. As each date passed on, you learned more and more about each other. Like that basketball wasn't just a hobby of his, it was his one true passion. He learned little things about you too, like your favorite movie, and place to eat, and things you'd always wished you could do. One of those things was go to one of the school dances. Every year you had a tradition of staying home and watching old 80's movies, to get you through the fact that no one had bothered to ask you. You had told yourself you would stick to this tradition every year, but maybe Nathan could be the one to break that tradition?

You were sitting in the library, trying to study for your Physics midterm. Nathan walked in and immediately spotted you at a corner table. "Hey Y/N what are you studying for?" "Physics; this material is brutal, I have no idea how our teacher expects any of us to pass." "Well what are you doing this weekend to celebrate the ending of midterms?" "Oh well its the weekend of the dance, and I usually just stay home and watch old movies." "Well what if I asked you to go to the dance with me?" "I'd weigh over the pros and cons," you stated, your lips quirking up into a small smile, as you waited to see how Nathan would respond. "Well what if I showed you my awesome dancing skills, do you think that would convince you to go with me?" Nathan started to awkwardly move back and forth, slightly moving his waist and feet. He had absolutely no rhythm at all but he looked extremely cute while doing it, so you decided to say yes. "Well after seeing those moves... it's a yes from me." Nathan smiled and did a little cheer, happy that you said yes to him.
