Chapter 29

I folded my shirt and placed it in my bag. I did this about ten million times before I was done. I zipped it up and went out side. I sat on our front porch just staring. Suddenly, a car pulled up. Ryan climbed out as I ran to him. He hugged me in such a big hug as I cried.

"Shhh." He whispered to me. I nodded wiping my tears.

"I can't believe I'm leaving you." I mumbled as we stared into each other's eyes. He hugged me again.

"Tomorrow." He said. I nodded. "Want me to help?" He asked. I nodded. He put his arm around my shoulder as we went into my room. Me packed most of my things and a lot of my study books. I picked up a picture of Ryan and I in fourth grade. We had won our science fair with our solar powered house. I smiled at the frame as Ryan came behind me.

"Look at us." I smiled at him. He grinned kissing my head.

"We will always be better together." He said tapping my shoulder as I stood up.

"Yep. Better together." I frowned.

"What's wrong?" He asked coming to me taking my hands.

"We won't be together. I don't know what I'd do with out you!" I cried. He stared at me frowning.

"Emily. I've loved you forever and I still love you, but you love Cade. I want you to be happy and if this makes you happy, go for it. It's a once in a life time opportunity." He smiled. I nodded hugging him. "I will always love you. You're forever mine." He finished.

"Forever yours." I mumbled. My phone began to ring as I answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey! Em, its Cade."

"Hey Cade! What's up?"

"I want to take you out tonight. Like a last night date."

"I would love that. See you at seven?"

"See you at seven."

"Fancy or casual?"

"Nice but not fancy."

"Okay. Bu bye."

"See ya."

I hung up and looked at Ryan.

"My point proven." He frowned walking out.

"Well, I'm sorry I love Cade and not you!! Forgive me for not wanting you!" I yelled as he walked away.

"Emily! This is not about you! What about me? How do you think seeing the girl I love being with another boy feels? Huh? Think about that!" He yelled at me.

"Well! Guess what! Remember Kolby? Yeah! Him Kolby." I screamed hitting his chest. "I loved him and he CHEATED! And you! I thought you were cheating on me!! How do you think that feels??" I yelled at him. He stared at me frowning. I fell back on my bed in defeat. I put my face in my hands and shook my head.

"Em." He mumbled walking up to me.

"Just go." I mumbled pointing to the door.

"Em. We should tal-" he started.

"I told you to leave! Now leave!" I yelled standing up. I hung his head and left. I honestly wish he didn't. We could of talked it out. I just didn't like arguing with him. He was my best friend and I argued with him over the silliest things. Why. Oh why did it happen like this?

"Why." I muttered to myself.

A/N I'm sorry it's short!! I didn't really know what to put. I thought having her and Ryan get into an argument would be interesting then her mad Cade going on a date. Idk if I'm going to write that scene or not. It may be a separate chapter if I do. The full next chapter is going to be her leaving I think.
