I was shaking with nerves. "what if his mom didn't like me and didn't let him hang out with me." I thought about all the things that can go wrong but was pulled out of my trance when something brushed against my hand. I look down and see Ivan's arm slightly touching me when he swung his arms past me walking. And even though I didn't want to my body lit up when we made contact. I let it happen, I didn't want it to stop. He told me about how she would love me and to not be worried as we were heading up the driveway. He gave me a quick hug saying that I shouldn't be nervous at all before reaching for the door handle. He pushed it open and let me by.
