Chapter 9: Mad & Pregnant

Amethyst P.O.V
I wake up and feel a huge headache and my stomach is doing backflips. I sit up but I gently get pushed back down by Garnet standing in front​ of me with a tray of water, Sprite, and a few Advils. "Thank-" I was beginning to say but she says "Shhhh...." while setting the tray down on the bed beside me and kisses me gently as I kiss her back. She smiles through the kiss and I smile too while gently putting my hand on the side of her face while deepening the kiss. I moan in the kiss as she breaks it.

"Your so sweet Garnet." I say as she smiles and says "Thank you baby, I try. Here, go throw up and then come back to me." She says as I get up and throw up in the bathroom. I brush my teeth and head back to Garnet. She smiles and says "Feel a little better?" While handing me Sprite and Advils. "I feel like a little less shitty." I say while taking the Advil and Sprite. I take the pill and drink the Sprite as I cuddle with Garnet smiling with her visors on.

"What are you smiling about babe?" I ask her as I sit up and she puts her arm around my waist as we lay in bed and watch TV in her room. "Just thinking about our great future and amazing past. I love you." She says as she kisses me and I kiss back. "I love you too." I say when we break the kiss. I feel a little sleepy so I rest my head on Garnets shoulder as I slowly fall asleep. I feel her kiss my forehead and say "Good night baby." With a little laugh as she continues to watch TV and I smile and sleep on my lovers shoulder.

Garnet P.O.V
I look over at my sleeping baby and I smile. She's just so damn adorable and sexy at the same time. I just stare and smile at her, she's just so addicting and she's all mine. I was so happy to hear her squeals of excitement, those eyes beaming with bright happy purple, and her voice a little higher pitched with joy because of me, because of her surprise birthday party. I bet she'll be hungry when she wakes up so I get up but I get pulled back down my Amethyst. "Stay with me." She whines a little in her sleep.

"Baby, I'm gonna make us some food, let me go love." I whisper in her ear while kissing her forehead. She grips me tighter and I sigh. I pick her up as she wraps her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. "I just wanna be in your arms." She says while cuddling into the crook of my neck were she put my hickey and kisses it. "Mmm~" I moan a little and I feel her smile. "Ok ok, I'll carry my big baby." I say as I kiss her ear making her giggle.

I smile and walk out the room with her in my arms. I go the kitchen and decided to make some waffles for the both of us. I take the box out of the freezer and put them in the toaster. I take out two plates and as soon as they pop out I put the on the plate with my free hand since the other one is under my babies butt to support her so she won't fall off me. I look down at her sleeping figure and laugh a little as I shake my head, she's​ something else but she's my something else. I go in the room and get the tray while putting the empty whine bottle and whine glasses on it and walking back to the kitchen.

The smell of the whine reminds me of last night's event in the room and I bite my lip as my vision gets blurry and every sensation and view comes in my head as we made love last night. I smile and put the food on the tray and carry it back to the room. I carefully put it on the night stand and I put Amethyst down. "Baby, wake up, I made us some waffles." I say as she turns and stirs a little bit as she says "I don't wanna eat right now, I don't feel good." That broke my heart a little because I hate to hear and see my baby sick. "Aww ok. I'll put it in the microwave for you ok?" I ask as she nods and I kiss the back of her hand as I go put it in the microwave.

I eat my food and I tried only once to offer her a bite but she denied and faced the other way. I finish eating and put the tray up as I wash my plate. I go to Pearls room from the connecting hallway and open the door to see Pearl with Sam teaching her a few things as Sam seems to be amazed. I smile and close the door. I head back into my room and then into another hallway leading to Roses room and I open the door to see Connie and Steven at a water park that they created in the room just having fun together. I smile at them and head back to my baby.

I see that she's not in the bed so I walk to the bathroom and see her passed out. "Amethyst!" I shout and run by her side. I pick her up and rush her to Roses fountain. I put her in but after 10 minutes nothing happens. I panic and almost unfuse but I take a few deep breaths and keep myself together. I run to the warp pad and warp back to the temple. "Guys! Amethyst passed out!" I yell out as I begin to cry on my knees while holding Amethyst. My visors fall and I say "Amethyst, speak to me, please babe." I say while holding her and shedding a few tears. "What's wrong what happened?" Pearl says running out of her room then Steven and Connie next along with Sam.

"She passed out after I was checking on everyone. I went to Roses fountain and nothing happened. I came back here and I just couldn't keep it in anymore." I say through my tears as Connie kneels by my side and hugs me as I hug her back. "Let me check her out. Lay her on the counter." Pearl says while summoning a gem healing kit from her gem. I pick her up and set her down. "She's still breathing and her gem is in perfect condition." Pearl says as she lifts up her shirt and puts her hand to her stomach. She gasps and says "She's pregnant." And we all looked shocked. "Really?" I ask and Pearl nods. "That's why she's not up, she's just in a very deep sleep. She's collecting energy, just like Rose." Pearl says as she runs off and slams the door behind her. "I think it's best if you go Sam, I'm sorry for Pearls actions." Steven said as she nods and heads out.

"Why is she so mad?" Connie asks. "She's afraid that Amethyst will die like Rose did, and I am too." I say with tears in my eyes as I pick her up and take her to her room and I take the hallway connecting our rooms to go back into mine without saying a word to anyone for the rest of the day.

~~Time Skip to a Week Later~~

Amethyst P.O.V
I finally wake up and I feel a gembryo (gem embryo) inside me. I'm pregnant?!! I go to Garnets room and try and unlock the hallway door but it's locked. "Garnet!! We gotta talk!!" I say while knocking on the door hard. She opens the door slowly and I see that she's been crying and her visors are off. "Baby?! Oh my God, are you ok what's wrong?" I ask her as I walk her to her bed and make her sit down. "Your pregnant Amethyst, what if you die while giving birth?" Garnet says barely above a whisper as tears start flowing but she keeps the same heart breaking sad expression on her face. "Your right. But we won't know until I give birth to OUR child. Your gonna become a mother Garnet, you can't be like this. This is amazing! We're gonna be parents to our own baby! You have to be happy because Lord knows I am! I'm happy as hell!! We're gonna be the best parent and no one is dying and if I do, tell him or her how hilarious my corny jokes are and how they make you laugh even though it may not be that funny." I say to her as she laughs with small tears now and I kiss her deeply. She moans and I crawl on top of her not breaking the kiss.

We make out and we moan a few times as she melts in my touch. I break the kiss and blush. "That was good." Garnet said as I agreed with her. "I'm not gonna die because there's so many firsts I wanna do with you Garnet, I'm not going anywhere." I say as she nods and she kisses me. I kiss back and just lay on her as we watch a bit of TV and fall asleep.

Third Person P.O.V
As for a small and skinny gem named Pearl, she was angry. She didn't hate Garnet or Amethyst or anyone for that matter but she was angry at the world. She was afraid that Amethyst might die when after giving birth, sad that the baby might not even make it, and especially angry at Garnet making this all happen. She was so confused with her emotions sh didn't know what to feel but anger because all that's flooding her mind is how much she hated Garnet. She may be the death of Amethyst and she might not, but no body will know, not only until she gives birth. Pearl was forced to love Steven a accept him when Rose was gone. As soon as Steven came it seemed no one cared about Rose being gone, like they didn't even care for her. But Pearl did, she cried everyone's tears and raged everyone's anger. She was a ticking time bomb just waiting for someone or something to light her fuse, and now she finally found her match to strike.
