Kabanata 2

We were at blue eagles gym. As usual, training nanaman. I don't know but the atmosphere was too heavy.

I feel like everyone is upset or they're not just in the mood. I sighed when I saw how tired Jia was.

"Here." Kat handed me a bottled water. "You okay?"

I nodded. "You?"

"Tired." She smiled a little bit.

Tumayo na kami at nagtraining na ulit. Everyone was dead tired. Maybe because we're having an intense training or pms or I don't know why.

"Maddie, ano ba?!" Bea shouted at me.

I looked at her. "Hindi ko sadya!"

"What the hell?!" She said. "Hindi mo sadya but you hits my head? Seriously?"

"What do you expect on training, Bea?" I asked. My patience's being tested nanaman.

"Now you're mad pa? Ikaw na nga 'tong nakatama."

"I'm explaining my side."

"By what? By being sarcastic?"

"What's your problem ba? Si Mich natamaan ka din naman niya but you didn't react tapos ganyan ka sakin?"

"And now you're comparing?"

"I'm not! Okay? You're being irrational!"

"What?!"

"Stop, you two!" Jia shouted. "Ano bang problema niyo?!"

I looked away. "Itanong mo diyan."

She snorted. "Now it's my fault."

"I said itanong sayo. I didn't said it was your fault." I retorted.

"Is it hard to say sorry?" She asked.

"It wasn't intentional, Bea! My god! Grow up!"

"Intentional or not, you should've said sorry!" She shouted. "Grow up too!"

"Ano ba?!" Jia butted in. "You both grow up! If you have personal issues then don't bring it here."

I sighed. "I'm sorry capt."

"Now you're saying sorry kay Jia."

"Bea! Will you stop?" Mich butted in. "Fix you issues, will yah?"

I looked at her sincerely. "I'm sorry, Bea."

She snorted. "Saying I'm sorry doesn’t fix things."

And she walked out. Sinundan naman siya ni Jho. I sighed and my teammates went to me to give me a hug.

"Everything's gonna be alright fly." Ponggay said.

"Thank you."

I was dead tired when I went to the dorm. Kat was already there and she looked at me.

"You okay?"

I nodded. "Uh-uh."

"You don't have to lie with me, Mads."

I smiled. "It was a misunderstanding, Kat."

She shook her head. "It was unintentional."

"But I hurt her."

"And you were too."

"It was nothing, Kat."

"Stop telling a lie, Mads." Kat said. "Everyone knows you're hurt but you keep on denying it."
