"You know if he could he would've come get you right" Roman said after they had been driving in silence for a while.
When Amber didn't answer him he sighed and continued "Amber talk to me ,pretty girl ,I know you want to" He said giving her a side glance a silly grin on his face making her sightly smile as she scoffed looking out the window.

"You still stick to that stupid pet name,but hey your not that intelligent so no one can blame you" Amber said smiling at the closed window

"baby you say the sweetest things" Roman countered

"shut up" Amber snapped playfully

"yeah keep talking dirty to me you know I love it" he sang horribly making Amber cover her ears laughing

"ah shit now I know I didn't miss your voice" she said wiping a year from her eyes

"yeah yeah keep telling yourself that and you might believe it" Roman said giving her a wink and giving her knee a reassuring squeeze.
Out of all the people she knew only Roman could ever successfully put a smile on her face it drove HIM crazy whenever she and Roman had been seen laughing and joking around. Roman even got a cracked rib once but after they had realized that it was a brotherly/sisterly bond most would not bat an eye anymore if they saw Roman running around with Amber on his back.
I'm fact Amber was glad Roman had been sent otherwise the person would have lost an eye an ear or even a finger with the mood she was in when she called HIM.

"Oh he said you should just head on up,he'll see you when he's done" Roman said parking the car and heading for the door. Leaving a fuming Amber in the car

"The least he could have done was meet me at the door but noooooooo!" she grumbled as she entered and went straight to his room

Amber had been sitting in his room for over an hour and still Kieran was nowhere to be found at one point she thought he was avoiding her but she quickly dismissed the thought.
Giving up on waiting she changed into one of his shirts and got under the warm covers ,it felt weird how she was now in his bed given she had once sworn to never lie in it again.
Unfortunately that was impossible because he had given strict orders that she was to stay in his room and no matter how much Amber pleaded with Roman she had still wound up in the devil's lair what in the world had made her call him she thought to herself as she drifted off snuggling more into the covers.

"Mo ghrá" a husky voice whispered in her ear while strong arms wrapped around her but while she knew that voice Amber kept pretending she was asleep "You know I don't like it when you ignore me my love" Kieran said as one of his hands went under the shirt she was wearing down to the waistband of her panties while simultaneously pulling her closer "baby in sorry I didn't come get you alright but I couldn't and you know that" he said placing teasing kissess to her neck as one of his thick fingers found it's way between her folds making her moan which brought a smirk to his face.

"fine I forgive you" Amber said trying to remove his hand that seemed quite comfortable between her legs but he didn't budge and by the thing that was poking her ass Amber knew shit was about to get real and fast "Kieran please don't" she pleaded trying to hold back her moans

"what happened?" he asked darkly ,to tell the truth Amber knew this was coming she had tried to avoid the issue when they were on the phone earlier but she knew he would never drop it until he knew why she was alone at night crying "and don't try bullshit me got it" he demanded

"I broke up with Caleb" she whispered as the pain of Caleb's betrayal still stung her greatly she had actually loved him and that was what hurt the most

"what did he do?" Kieran asked calmly but Amber knew he was anything but calm as he drew invisible shapes on her stomach holding her as if she were his only sanity .
Because in truth she was the only thing keeping him from going after the boy for hurting her but on the plus side a sick sense of satisfaction washed over him because had Caleb not fucked up somehow she would not be in his home,his room,his bed,and in his arms right now so maybe a thank you was in order...he scoffed inwardly at the last thought ,yeah seeing her with Caleb rubbed Kieran the wrong way but Amber was happy and that is all he ever wanted even if it was not with him but he would prefer if it was in his arms that she found joy.

"nothing" Amber said with a little sniffle and before she knew what was happening she was on her back with her hands pinned above her head face to face with a glaring Kieran his beautiful green eyes narrowed at her

"bullshit Amber you have two options you either tell me or a find out what that little soith did and when I do trust me he will never even look at a girl the wrong way again" Kieran said the anger visible in his eyes

"Nothing Kieran" she said before smirking and hooking one of her legs around him trying to pull him down to her "but something could happen between us" she said huskily loving the way his eyes darkened by the second.

"Nope" he said getting off her and going to lie down on the futon he had in front of the plasma hanging in the wall.Leaving a very confused Amber on his bed

"What?!" Amber asked shocked had he just turned her away.

"I said no ,I'm not going to touch you if you're not sure and you know this we've talked about it before" He said closing his eyes

"But I am sure" She protested sitting up glaring at him

"No you're not,baby you forget I know you and you're not ready for me yet but when you are nothing will keep me from you so sleep tight because I am not touching you till then" he said trying to get comfortable but after a while he decided that a cold shower was needed if he was going to get any sleep , he got up and headed to his ensuit locking the door after him to make sure she didn't get any ideas

Amber sat up got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom door and tried to open it only to discover it was locked.

"Kieran you little ahhhhh" she shouted hitting the door with her fist a few times before giving up and going back to bed vowing to get payback against him in the morning.
After his shower Kieran stayed in the bathroom till he knew she was definitely asleep before he returned to the couch and fell asleep. When an hour had passed without her banging on the door Kieran finally left the safety of the bathroom and settled himself on the couch and got as comfortable as he could with a sense of peace he had not felt since she had left ,and the hope that the coming days would be better and keeping his fingers crossed that she would not regret coming to him and leave before the dawn like she had before.
