When morning came Amber felt like a zombie, the fear of him returning had her up all night and her anxiety levels were skyrocketing . Waking up had been an utter chore and by the time she made it to the dining hall she felt like crawling back to bed but she decided against it ,she wanted to graduate and leave this place as soon as possible. She was brooding over her food when a shadow fell over her and shortly someone sat across from her, she looked up and to her horror the d0uche from yesterday sat with his hands under his chin watching her.
"what do you want now" she said exasperated but he only stared at her with amusement dancing in his eyes.
You see yesterday when he got home Cam had informed him of who she was ,her hometown,middle name ,parents, and even her boyfriend a fact that did not sit well with him and he decided he would pursue her ,boyfriend or not and he would have her.
That morning he woke up feeling refreshed and his mood only picked up when he saw her sitting and having her breakfast. He swiftly crossed the room throwing back greetings to everyone who greeted him and stood a while waiting for her to notice him and when she didn't he sat across from her till she let out an aggravated sigh and asked him what he wanted
"How's my favorite girl this morning" he said flirtatiously only to receive a narrow eyed skeptical glare from Amber "what cat got your tongue ,you seemed so vocal yesterday ,love"
"I try not to talk to sociopathic ,kidnapping psychopaths " she replied in a clipped tone "and don't call me love" she hissed at him but he only looked at her in amusement ,was this the same girl who had trembled before him last night or was she full of more surprises he had yet to discover with or without her permission he would know her inside out .
"So what are you doing this weekend" he asked lazily making her eye twitch at his sudden change of subject
"Studying" she replied shortly
"Not anymore I'll pick you up at noon ,wear something cute" he said giving her a wink although 'cute' was not the word he was thinking but he was trying to not scare her off again and he strolled away before she could reject his offer making her scoff at his arrogance ,hell would freeze over before she dressed up and went anywhere with that psycho.

She was in biology when the girl next to her asked for a pencil and she handed her one of the 5sos(5secondsofsummer) pencils she had ,then returned to drawing the heart that was projected on the board . The bell seemed to have rung earlier than she thought or was it because she had been so focused on her work that time flew by,grumbling she made her way to lunch and after getting her food she went to her table far from the crowd and placed her earphones and played twenty-one pilots on shuffle . Amber was enjoying her music when someone tapped her shoulder ,she let out a sigh removing her earphones
"For the love of krumpus what do you want now" she said exasperated turning to face the confused face of her biology classmate and blushing from embarrassment "sorry I thought you were someone else" she said apologetically
"Lol I would not want to be that person tho" she said sounding amused "hie I'm Clara" she introduced herself with her hand outstretched towards Amber
"Amber" she replied shaking the disturbingly bubbly girls hand
"Is this seat taken?" She asked and as soon as Amber had said no she plopped down and began to babble at an exceedingly fast rate that Amber found it difficult to keep up and just stared at her with a befuddled look on her face wondering how a person could speak so fast,in the end she gave up and observed Clara,who had blue eyes,a baby face and long blond hair that was thrown up in an intricate bun. A while later six other people whom Clara greeted cheerfully joined their table and Amber feeling a little self conscious slipped her earphones back in her ears ,towards the end of the song she looked up to see Clara and everyone else looking intently at her ,so with wide eyes she removed her earphones and put them away knowing she would not use them anytime soon. "What ?" She asked ,Clara chuckled
"Everyone meet my new friend Amber" she announced cheerfully "Amber meet my friends"
"I'm Calla" a girl with a tanned complexion curly copper hair and intense grey eyes said in a calm tone
"I'm Sara" a girl with deep brown eyes and hair said
"I'm Mr J" a guy with a goofy smile ,blond hair and hazel eyes said just before Clara scoffed
"This here is our resident jokester/prankster Jedediah" She said "but if you ask me he's more of a joke himself"
"Really Clara way to kill my mojo ,how will I look good in front of her now" he sulked glaring playfully at her
"Easy....You don't " She said sticking out her tongue at him
"Don't mind the twins they are idiots unfortunately there's no helping them,I'm David by the way" said a guy sitting across from Amber,next to Clara with dark hair and seemingly dark endless eyes.
"Hey" Clara and Jedediah shouted but he just waved them off
"I'm Jaycee the good looking one in the group" jay had auburn hair and pale green eyes "That over there is Killian,doesn't talk much but can be really there when you need him" he said pointing at the boy who sat next to her seemingly off in his own world he had the darkest mop of wavy jet black hair she had ever seen ,tied in a small ponytail at the base of his neck "Hey Apollo" Jay called making him look up and meet Amber's brown eyes,eyes that at that moment froze his world in time ,just one look and he could not look away.Amber too was mesmerised by the deep Caribbean blue crystal like orbs that were his eyes, so there they sat just staring at each other neither able to look away,till Clara squealed and snapped the both out of it
"Oh my gosh ,you two were so having a moment" she said happily and Amber just looked at her as if she were mad while everyone either slapped their foreheads or hit their heads on the table at her reaction "what, I toats gonna be their maid of honour at their wedding"
"wait who's wedding" Amber asked confused
"You and Pollo obviously now what colour..."
"I have a boyfriend" Amber cut off making Clara's face fall
"Sorry Pollo the good ones always seem to be taken" she said making him slightly blush
"Must you always attempt to set me up with every girl you meet,Clair" he said in a voice that sent unsanctioned shivers down Amber's spine
"What I don't want you to die old,single,bitter and alone" she exclaimed
"I still got you don't I?" he said giving a dazzling smile that almost made Amber swoon had she not reminded herself of Caleb ,who was waiting for her at home
"Oi back off Frazer she's mine" David said putting an arm around her and playfully pinching her cheeks
"hey you're still not forgiven for comparing me to dip wad over there" she said giving David a playful glare
"Well there are ways to make you change your mind" he said flirtatiously while biting her earlobe softly making her giggle
"OH my eyes,they burn PDA much,why can't you give us a warning before you to act all couplely no in fact get a frigging room, yes Sara that is a word don't give me that look" Jed exclaimed covering his eyes and ending with a little bit of sass towards Sara who just rolled her eyes at him. As soon as he had finished his rant the bell rang and Amber got up and started to make her way to her locker, checking her next lesson she groaned in exasperation collecting her math books and slamming her locker shut only to jump at someone standing next to her observing her with those same blue eyes that had her entranced not so long ago.
"Hi ,I wanted to apologise for Clara's behaviour ,we rarely let her out in public" he said chuckling and Amber couldn't help but laugh along with him
"It's alright ,I'm used to it my best friend at home is literally crazier than a cartoon" she replied
"So I hadn't introduced my self properly,I'm Killian Fraser,its really nice to meet you Amber..." he trailed off reaching his hand out for a hand shake
"Goodwin...Amber Goodwin" she shyly said taking his hand
"So let me guess,the ever evil math?" Killian said with a playful smile "may I have the honour" he said offering his arm
"Of course" Amber replied with a little giggle taking it as they walked off to math unknowing of the seething pair of eyes that were on them.
