My mom: *just wakes up and walks out*
Me: *hears and looks out* hi mom
Mom: so dad(yes, my mom will call my dad, well dad and my dad will call my mom, mom) made you stay?
Me: yeah, throats still swollen. But it's going down I think.
Mom: ah, well I should still take you to the clinic even though we do this EVERY YEAR AROUND THIS TIME.
Me: yup, but I can eat my lunch first?
Mom: yes, I need a shower anyway
