"I was just trying out some clothes."

I stared down at my button-up-shirt and blue jeans.

"Do I look good in this."

Alex looked me up and down.

He chuckled.

"You look fine. Though what's with the sudden shift in style?"

I pouted.

"What do you mean? I've owned these clothes for some time now!"

"Really? You're always wearing baggy clothes such as sweaters."

In truth, my sister had bought them for me, but I'd never worn them.

"That's my usual style. But I'd like to change it up every once in awhile."

He walked over to his bed and sat down his stuff.

An impish smile tugged on his lips.

"What's with that look?"

He snickered once more.

"Are you perhaps trying to impress someone?"

My face flushed as red as a tomato.

I avoided his piercing eyes.

"Not at all! I just figured, maybe if I dressed more adult, I'd get people to not call me 'kid'."

"Is that so?"

I nodded vehemently.

"Though, I am curious. You've ever been in love with someone?" I asked.
