Episode 1.5: Seal

As they made their way out of the playroom, the orange haired wiman couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She had never been fully on board with her husband's beliefs and practices, but she had always supported him nonetheless. However, seeing their daughter covered in beads and witnessing the strange ritual had left her feeling uneasy.

"Can you explain to me what just happened?" she asked her husband as they walked down the hallway.

He sighed, knowing that this conversation was inevitable. "It's a protection ritual," he explained. "The beads are imbued with powerful energy that will shield Olivia from negative forces and keep her safe."

The woman nodded, still unsure of how she felt about it all. "But why does it have to be so...intense?" she asked. "Couldn't we just get her a charm or something?"

Her husband shook his head. "It has to be done this way. The energy has to be channeled directly into her being. It's the only way to ensure that it works."

They reached the end of the hallway and the man opened the door to their bedroom. The woman helped him to the bed and he lay down, exhausted from the ritual.

"I just want to make sure that our daughter is safe," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

The woman sat down next to him and took his hand. "I know," she said softly. "But sometimes I worry that you're taking things too far."

He squeezed her hand. "I understand your concerns," he said. "But I truly believe that what I'm doing is for the greater good. And one day, Olivia will understand that too."

The woman nodded, not entirely convinced. But she knew that her husband's beliefs were deeply ingrained and that she would never be able to change them. All she could do was support him and hope that he was right.
