She gave a crack of a genuine smile at one thing that she tried to restrict herself from blurting out. But she couldn't help but say it. "Escort? Who even says escort anymore?" She also couldn't help but give a totally un- Percy- like giggle after that.

She blew at a strand of hair in her face, watching it fall back in front of her eyes in defiance, before responding. "But I've got nothing to do, so sure." She said carefree while giving a fake smile of her own.

"Great," he said with a clap of his hands, "I'll pick you up at 7."

"I'll be ready, you dressing up?" She asked as she didn't know if she was supposed to dress up.

"I didn't think about that. I'll not dress up, don't like it and don't want to be a dweeb like my brother and do so. How about........ instead of the carnival, we go to the Grill. I would suggest something else, something more cozy, but I have a feeling I'll get hurt if I do." He said when he took a look over her physical appearance.

"And that feeling might or might not be true." She says a be too innocently before flashing a smirk to him. "Mystic Grill it is, and if you don't show up then I'm gonna go to the carnival. I have a costume and I would like to wear it." With that, she swing the door shut in his face as he went to turn away. She didn't really have a costume, she did have her outfit from being Praetor though, and she doesn't think anyone would recognize it as anything but a costume.

Percy was ready by the door on time, with her hair in a messy bun while wearing shorts and a sweatshirt over a blue top. As she looked at the time, a car honked outside and she grinned to herself. Damon was here.

"I love the car," Percy says while slipping into the passenger seat by him.

"Is that sarcasm I detect?" He asked, giving the daughter of Poseidon a look.

"Not at all," she said while putting the seat belt on. "Basic 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible, I love it."

He gave her a slight look of shock. "What?" She asked when she saw the look.

"You know your cars." He pointed out unnecessary.

"So?" Percy asked, still oblivious to what he meant by his reaction.

"I didn't know that someone with a pretty face like yours would know this stuff." He said before giving her a smirk.

She rolled her eyes. "Just start the car, Salvatore." She said as she gave him a smirk.

He hit the gas pedal and they were off.

On the way, Percy felt his eyes on her. "And keep your eyes on the road." She said before getting her sunglasses out and placing them on. She then leaned back against the seat even more than before.

She looked at the passing trees and houses that seemed to be a blur to her eyes and let out a calmed yet unsure laugh at the sight of it all.

"Care to explain what's funny?" Damon asked as he gripped the steering wheel a bit harder then he usually did before raising an eyebrow at Percy, waiting for an answer.

"It's nothing." She claimed while shaking her head before smiling at the sight of the cozy feel of the town. Even though she had already been living in Mystic Falls for two months, she still was in awe of all the nature the town preserved.

As she grew up as a demigod, she was used to seeing places like this in one of the camps - even Olympus! However, she couldn't have imagined that a completely normal place would look like this. The places she visited before during her travels with her friends were in cities far from what Mystic Falls had going on - especially Manhattan and California. Not a specific place in Cali, no, she's thinking of the whole state.
