The next morning, when Emily woke, Mia wasn't in her bed.

Figuring she might have been late for breakfast, she headed into the kitchen, but found only Jayden.

"Morning Em." Jayden greeted. He was still in his pajamas, and it looked like he was debating on what to cook.

"Morning." Emily replied. "Where's Mia?"

"She's not in bed?" Jayden asked.

Emily shook her head. "I don't know where she-"

The conversation was interrupted by a scream from outside.

The two teens ran outside to find an old woman holding Mia by her shoulder.

"Mia!" Emily exclaimed. "Let her go!"

"This pretty little thing?" The woman asked. "She freed me. I would never want to hurt her."

"So you'll let her go?" Jayden asked.

"I will. As soon as she admits it."

"Never!" Mia argued. She grimaced as the woman gripped her shoulder tighter.

The next thing Mia knew, the woman was gone, and Jayden was standing next to her with his spin-sword. The doll lay at Mia's feet.

"This thing is definitely getting burned." She said, picking it up.

Suddenly, the doll screamed, "Are you sure?"

"The end." Mike finished.

"Are you kidding?" Antonio started. "That wasn't scary."

"Oh yeah?" Mike asked. "You got something better, hot shot?"

Antonio smirked. "Of course I do. Once upon a time, there were a few kids...."

*********

Antonio and Jayden were sitting in the main room reading comic books when Ji walked in.

"Hey Ji." Jayden said, still reading.

"Jayden, this antique mirror is going in your room, okay?"

Jayden looked up. "What? Why?"

"I found it in town." Ji replied. "But it won't fit in my room."

"Do you need help?" Antonio asked.

Ji nodded, so the two thirteen year olds got up to help him.

"That thing is creepy." Jayden said once Ji left the room.

"Definitely." Antonio replied. "You should cover it with a sheet or something."

"But if Ji comes in he'll see it."

Mike and Emily walked into the room.

"Hey guys." Mike greeted. "Ji let us in."

He stopped. "Woah, that mirror's creepy."

"Thanks captain obvious." Antonio said jokingly.

"You know what this mirror reminds me of?" Emily questioned.

"The 1920's?" Jayden answered sarcastically.

"Bloody Mary."

"I hate Bloody Mary." Mike said. "That game is scary."

"We should play." Antonio replied with a smile.

"What?" Mike and Jayden asked together.

"No way!" Jayden continued. "I'm not gonna let you release some hell demon into my room."
