"San kayo nagpunta? Nagdate ba kayo?" James was waiting for Jhay-K.
Jhay-K with his usual self, didn't answer. So Dane just said, "Nagpahangin lang."
"Ahh." He didn't bother to ask again.
When the exam started, Jhay-K can't think about their lessons. So he just copy to James who was also coppying Michael. Haiist. Bestfriends.
At Jhay-K's house, James were there. He wants to sleep there.
"Bakit kasi dito ka pa matutulog? May bahay naman kayo."
"Ayaw mo sakin cute Jhay-K?" James pouted.
Jhay-K threw his pillow on his face. They were at his bed with the tv on.
"Isa James ha." Jhay-K stand and went to terrace. James followed.
"Seryoso na ko. Jhay-K, crush mo ba si Dane?" The mood became serious.
"No."
"Pustahan tayo, crush mo yun sya." He's still smiling widely until his eyes can't see anymore. While Jhay-K seems to have a different emotion. Like he wants to smile but couldn't.
"Truth." Jhay-K said. If he say that, it means he wanted to ask. And answer it honestly.
"Kuya James." He said.
James suddenly smiled again. "First time mo kong tinawag na kuya ah. Nakakatouch naman yung respeto mo." He said with just a little bit sarcasm. Jhay-K never called him kuya. But James is happy because he likes Jhay-K to be his younger brother very much.
"Kung may mahal ka tapos pareho naming kailangan yung tulong mo, sino yung uunahin mo. Your bestfriend or your love one?" From looking at the stars, Jhay-K looked at his bestfriend.
"I will save my best friend because his my love one."
He tapped Jhay-K's back then they went back to sleep.
The night was silent.
