4 - Our Date Continues

While Dylan and I were still at the restaurant, he stood up from our table and there was a stage close to where our table was so he decided to go up there and serenade me. He got settled onto a stool and got his guitar plugged into the amp. Once it was plugged in, the lights went down and a spotlight was shown on Dylan and he told the audience, "The first song that I would like to sing is called, 'Wannabe'. I'd like to dedicate this song to my amazing girlfriend. I love you, honey." Then he blew me a kiss and then started strumming his guitar and sang. While he was singing, I just sat in my seat and stared at him, with tears in my eyes. Once the song was over, there were tears in his eyes I could tell. So he wiped his eyes and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to dedicate that love song to my girlfriend." So he started strumming his guitar for the opening of his song,  "Wannabe." After the song was over,  he put his head down and then out of the corner of my eye, I saw tears in his eyes, but he wiped them away but then he looked up at me and said,  "Honey, that song was just for you." Then he put his guitar away and walked down off of the stage and gave me a kiss. I had tears in my eyes and said, "Thank you so much, honey." He kissed me on the forehead and said, "Oh honey, wipe those eyes." So I wiped away my tears and  asked, "There, is that better?" "Yes, it is, thank you." Then we left the restaurant and went on home and that was the end of our date. We went up to our bedroom and went to sleep, Dylan looked at me and said, "I love you so much, thank you for coming." Then we went to sleep.
