Inequality

There's no reason to it
No rhyme behind the beat of this song
Just the constant scream of hate
Imagine Screamo with no meaning
A constant battle of hate and peace
But peacekeepers are filled with hate
Not only for the hateful but the indifferent
They scream to know hey they do not care
To know why it does not matter to them
To understand why when presented
They turn a blind eye to truth
Sometimes agree with the oppressor
But still they scream indifference
If you are indifferent in the face of oppression
You are taking the side of the oppressor
Have fun with that on your conscious
To know you've aided in suicides and murders
In hate crimes and torture
You not standing up might as well be a gunshot
To the heart, mind, and soul of the oppressed
You have not helped them when in need
You walk past the sufferer
You say you have nothing to help
But you have words and actions
You have control to support them
To listen to their strife so they have someone
Because online friendships is not enough
That person you see suffer, you could help
If the hate then turns on you too,
At least you can rest easy knowing you're right
That's what you strive for anyway
Making yourself feel at ease
Not wanting to feel guilty of what you've done
The wrongs you've performed
The confusion makes you angry so you scream
You hit and hurt and cry
You are the reason for inequality.
Fix yourself up before you continue
