I think that Dan knows about you two :(

The message was a brief one.

It sounded like that he was cheating on somebody, but he wasn't. He was absolutely faithful to Alessa. A smile crept up his face as he thought about her before he shook his head. It was time to focus on the message.

The message was from Nic.

Nic had been texting him every once awhile about House episodes since Alessa didn't like the tv show nor did Dan like it. Once in awhile Nic would ask when he would tell Dan about the relationship, since he didn't like keeping secrets.

It wasn't like he didn't want to tell Dan, but Dan never believed that he could keep a relationship and had scared tons of girls in the past. Spouting about him not being able to commit and that they shouldn't even try.

Dan was a jealous little prick.

But he did have a point. Commitment was not his strong suit. Never had been. Partially because he liked being single, but also because of the moving around. He enjoyed it. He didn't want to be tied down to one place. Alessa had the exact same mindset, so he was willing to settle into a relationship. She was just as restless as he was.

Although Logan knew that he was serious about this relationship, Dan would not be as easy to convince and he would scare Alessa away. So he waited for a point that he felt like Dan would believe that he was committed.

That was why the message should have terrified him.

They had only been dating for a little bit longer than a month at this point, but instead he felt oddly calm.

Don't worry about it. I'll deal with it.

Nic didn't need to get involved with his little brother's mood swings and tantrums. No, his brother and his shit was his responsibility.

Picking up to Dan certainly wasn't going to be enjoyable.

Instead of worrying, all of his attention was on car in front of him. The car was a beauty. His Dodge Charger was obviously the best car in the entire universe, but the red mustang did have its appeals.

With his attention on the car, the comments from Liam also went unnoticed. Liam had been making comments about Alessa for days.

Alessa had showed up at his work one day to give him his charger that he had accidently left at her place. Although their interaction had been brief and no intimate exchanges were involved, Liam still noticed that they had something going on.

And he wouldn't shut up.

Ryan wasn't helping for once. Logan was pretty sure that he had noticed the comments by the smirks he gave, but he wasn't telling Liam to shut up.

He had no allies at work.

It sucked being the newest and the youngest employee there.

A hand tapped on his shoulder pulling him out of his thoughts. He nearly snapped at the person before noticing it was Ryan. Definitely shouldn't snap at Ryan.

"Shouldn't you pick your brother up?" He asked.

The clock inside the car said it was four. Yep it was time to pick up his brother. In fact he should have left half an hour ago. Another reason for his brother to be pissy when he picked.

"Yeah, I should go."

Ryan nodded. "Well, see you tomorrow," he muttered as he walked away.

Logan said goodbye as well before driving off in his Dodge Charger to a brother who was about to throw one of the biggest temper tantrums in history. Times like these he hated his dad not being there. Why did he always have to deal with his brother's jerky moods? A father should be dealing with those problems. Not him.
