Maya's POV:
We get to the hospital. My face is tear stained. "Hi, are you all here for Ms.Hart?" the lady at the front desk asks us. I nod my head, scared if I speak I will start crying again. "Which one of you is her daughter?" she asks again. "I am." I whisper. At least I can some what talk. "Ok. You can all have a seat then." Riley says thank you.
I sit in-between Lucas and Riley. I want to cry. My mom is my only family left. I'm so scared. Lucas puts his arms around me. "It's going to be ok." he tells me. "I'm just so scared." I reply. He nods his head and squeezes me.
"Are one of you Ms.Hart's daughter?" A nurse ask us. "Yes, I am." I reply. "Please follow me." We walk to a room with couches and chairs. She gives me a hug. "I have some bad news."
