Maya's POV:
"Please leave me alone!" I scream as I'm pushed against my bedroom door with tears rushing out. Since my mom isn't home she doesn't know what goes on when she's not home. "Why should I? Is Ms.Tough Girl scared?" she asks as she punches me in the face. "I'm not scared!" I say with a lack of confidence. "You're an ugly,fat,idiot!" she tells me. I start crying even more. This is one of the reasons I went missing. I would tell someone,but she threatened me. I get punched and kicked even more. "I guess that's it for now. I'll see you at school tomorrow." she says as she leaves my room through the window.
