Chapter 33 Thunder in a Dry Season

I can see the floor but I stayed in my position, bending down my head from him. But another sensation is filling up my head, I can feel its heat and something moving inside it. I refrain from holding my head but screamed followed by it. Napahiyaw ako dahil sa sensasyong bago sa aking katawan.

"Oh! Damn it! Shit! Shit!"

"My my... I think it's starting to eat your body and the next stop would be.. you will die!" he smirks and walk towards me. He holds my face tightly. He snatched a knife on his pants and started to mark my face with it.

I felt a pang. I hissed at him. "Coward!" He crossed mark it with the knife, making a drawing creatures on my face. Halos malasahan ko na ang dugong dumadaloy sa pisngi ko dahil sa ginagawa niya.

He seemed irritated by what I said and push the knife into my face deeply. I exclaimed and push him. He just titters and stands. He gets the whip and faces me again. "I want you to die with this"

I bit my lower lip and look at him coldly. Damn. I slowly stand while holding the metal wire as support. He strikes me with his whip and on cue, I jump from another position. I hold my head coz the tingling sensation is still there but I can see now my surroundings.

"I don't know what kind of human are you that you still alive right now but you're not going to last" he seriously said.

Tumingin ito sa akin ng mataman at iniunday na naman ang hawak nitong latigo. He struck the whip on my side that it hit my left shoulder. Napasigaw ako dahil sa pagkakatama nito sa balikat ko. Fuck. Aalis na sana ako sa pwesto ko ng iniunday na naman nito ang latigo. The whip lock into my waist and he grab me, smashing me on the side of the ring. Napaigik ako dahil sa pagtama ng likod at ulo ko sa metal wire. Hindi pa ito nakontento at hinagis na naman niya ako sa kabilang bahagi ng metal wire. Paulit-ulit niya itong ginagawa na para lang akong isang bagay na binabalibag sa magka-bilang bahagi ng ring.

Napaubo ako ng dugo dahil sa biglang pagtigil nito sa ginagawa. Napadausdos ako pababa. Damn. I feel helpless and weak. Ni hindi ko man lang kayang labanan ang ginagawa niya sa akin! Damn it! I cough again. I put my hand on the floor and started to stand up. I feel pain all over my body. The scars on my face starts to heal, but I can still smell the slimy scent of blood.

Lumapit uli ito saken at hinawakan ako sa balikat at sinuntok ako sa tyan. Napalayo ako dito at napasandal sa metal wire. Iuumang na naman nito ang kamao nito ng mabilis akong pumunta sa likod niya at binigyan siya ng isang malakas na suntok sa batok. Napaluhod ito habang hawak ang batok nito. Hindi pa man ako nakakalayo ay bigla itong tumawa ng pagkalakas-lakas. Darn. Tumayo ito habang hawak pa rin ang batok at tiningnan ako ng matalim.

"You really surprised me" He said mockingly. I just hold my head again because the aching sensation is still there although I can manage to fight him. Parang binabayo sa sakit ang ulo ko pero magagawa ko namang labanan siya dahil hindi na malabo ang paningin ko. I sweep away the aching sensation and focus on my enemy. Damn! His the last one so I need to win this!

"Stop talking nonsense. Let's just fight"

Ngumiti lang ito ng nakakaloko at sumugod sa akin. Pinatamaan niya ako ng suntok at sipa niya pero sinasalag ko lang ito. Susuntukin na niya sana ako sa mukha ng salagin ko ito, binigyan ko siya ng sipa sa ulo pero dumukwang lang ito para hindi matamaan. He toss a kick on me but I also throw a kick on him, dahil dito nagkasalubong ang sipa namin at napalayo kami sa isat-isa. He pull another fight again and I dodge all of his attack. He's good but not as good as me. I exclaimed and jump giving him a knee punch on his face, he was caught off guard. Napalayo ito habang hawak ang dumudugong ilong nito.
