He couldn't help but feel disappointed when he saw the items. The cursed doll was quite good but it was a consumable. The Vampiric Eye however was disappointing. He would rarely need it since he was a long ranged fighter.

He felt that he was already strong enough to travel. Maybe he could now go see his sister and his best friend.
Later on, the nurse arrived and checked on his condition and said that he only needed a few more rest before he could leave.
"Boss!" a feline suddenly arrived and jumped into his arms.
He quickly grabbed the cat and rubbed his head. It instantly shaved off a large amount of fatigue that he had accumulated.

"Hey boss your treating me like a kid!" Xian complained and broke away from his wicked master's hands.
He quickly joined with Bea's battle pet, Roxy. It seems he had taken an interest towards her. It was an interracial love.
Kian suddenly felt a cold gaze from his back. He saw Shawn who just entered with Bea. His eyes were red from crying and he looked unwillingly at the young man on the bed.
Kian couldn't help but flash him a smirk which further infuriated the broken hearted guy.
"Hey boss, I've collected a lot of corpses from monsters but I still haven't sold their materials. Take a look" Xian magically took out a large bag.
The contents ranged from horns, wings and even monster cores. This would surely sell for a lot. Indeed, looting is the best part of hunting.
They talked idly for a bit before it switched to the topic about the invasion.
"So...how's the death rate" Kian slowly asked.
Bea couldnt help but sigh and shake her head.
"Bad. The number of deaths reached thousands. A lot of the surviving players suffered trauma and are now even too afraid to leave their rooms" she said, her face grave.
Kian became glum. At the same time, he couldn't help but feel restless. Did overflows also occurred in other places? It's not impossible. Who knows what may happen to Amy and George if an overflow occurred right at their academy?
"The monsters side?" Kain followed up a question.
"It's fine. A lot of them died. It'll take years before an overflow might happen once again" Xian reassured him with a smile.
"As for the corpses of the players, a massive funeral was held for all of them before the graveyard behind the academy was opened for them to be preserved. If somehow you can leave this game, the system may have a way to ressurect them." the last part was said with uncertainty.
Kian was overjoyed however. As long as there was a chance to live once again, he was already happy. Of course, this was only a chance. There wasn't a hundred percent certainty.
The talk then went from serious to just jokes and laughs.
A knock was heard from the door before an old man came in. It was Professor Perch who wore a snole
The door opened to reveal Professor Perch wearing a smile on his face.
"Kian, you're finally awake" he greeted.
"Professor Perch" Kian greeted back.
"Are you feeling well? I have something to tell you" he said slowly.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Is there a problem?" Kian's eyebrows furrowed. It seemed that he wanted to talk about something.
Professor Perch took out a small black box from his sleeves. It was adorned with gems and crystals. Kian was reminded of the overly designed objects used in fantasy movies back in the days. This time however, it really gave a feeling of mystery and majesty and it wasn't something illusory but was real.
Was is that box? The people in the room couldn't help but hold their breaths.
"You can open it on your own" Professor Perch handed the box over to Kian.
Kian took it and slowly opened the cover to reveal three items emmiting a kind of aura that screamed power.
