cassian had recovered. it had been a week and three days, but the medbay droids finally let him out of his hospital cell. he had a broken arm, and several gashes over his body, but he was alive nonetheless. his crew was not so lucky; chirrut was deaf in his left ear,
baze lost a hand, and jyn was wheelchair-ridden.

bodhi had suffered the worst blow.

he lost his right forearm and his entire left leg, and his face was swollen and raw even after a week and three days in a bacta tank. he was taken out earlier today and put in a hospital bed on the other side of the medbay.

he was barely alive; a machine breathed for him as liquid nutrients entered his body through an I.V.

cassian sunk into the all too familiar medbay chair, but only this time, k2 was not there to comfort him. he was destroyed on scarif, during the process of saving the mission by closing the vault doors on cassian and jyn. baze, chirrut, and jyn had all tried making cassian feel better about bodhi's state, but it was all to no avail.

cassian would simply just have to wait until bodhi woke up.
