(AN: Please listen to this song while reading, it fits so well - since it's so shorter then the length of the chapter, i'd suggest listening to it on repeat)

"If that is all, I should wish to end this meeting."

Without any further protest, Saphira waved away the elders. "Dismissed."

She was first to jump to her feet - gracefully, of course - as she quickly made her way out the room, speeding down the halls in an almost-jogging-speed, eager to leave the presence of the others.

Don't get her wrong, they were fellow Akiyama's and therefore she would always cherish and protect them, but god damn they could nag.

"Nee-san!"

The woman halted, glancing back over her shoulder to spot the ray of sunshine that was Akiyama Fay, grinning up at her. Saphira turned her body completely around, whole-heartedly pulling the pre-teen into a warm embrace, savouring the contact.

Back on her own two feet, Fay looked up, and grinned. "Nee-san, wanna go get dumplings together? It can be a dumpling adventure!"

Saphira resisted the urge to groan. "I am far too tired, Fay."

With puckered lips, the pinkette crossed her arms over her chest stubbornly, refusing to budge.

"Man, you can be such a child." The eerily cheerful tone of Akiyama Daiki echoed against the walls.

Fay felt a heavy hand on her head, tussling her vibrant thick hair as a chuckle rose up from his lips.

"Sorry about her, Saphira-sama."

Saphira blushed. While Fay grinned at her reaction.

"It's just Saphira." The brunette seemed to repeat for what seemed like-and probably was-the thousandths time.

Daiki merely grinned. "Sorry, Saphira-sama-" She jittered at the title. "-you're far too important to be just Saphira."

Fay sobered up from her sulking, watching in amusement as her sister seemed to brighten at the oh-so-charming smile Daiki shot at her. It was then, that Fay took notice to just how much the Akiyama male had changed over the years.

When they first met, he was shy, quiet, and clearly intimidated by the sisters. After his own sister passed on, he became more distant, seeking solitude over the presence of others.

Until one day, Saphira had finally had enough, bursting into his room to give him a piece of her mind.

"W--What are you doing here?" The male choked, completely gobsmacked by her sudden appearance.

Saphira said nothing, simply striding in and grasping the male by the back of his collar and proceeded to drag him out the room. Now gone from the safety of his bed and now out in the open, Daiki hissed.

"Let go of me!!"

He didn't care if she was his leader, he didn't care if talking back meant execution. He simply wanted to be alone.

"No."

"N--No!?" He repeated, anger rising. "Who do you think you are!?"
