A/n:
Something I hope you don't know about me (unless u r a stalker) I LOVE Shakespearian plays, I have read Romeo and Juliet about seven times, so this going to have a little scene with Charles Lee, hope you enjoy and REQUEST PLEASE🙏⬇️!

Y/n's POV~

Ugh. There's going to be some stupid ball I don't even want to attend, but I have to, its at my own house, I know my sister Patsy is fussing over getting the handsome soldier boys (boi) to notice her,

"Patsy, they're just stupid man just wanting to get drunk."

"No Y/n when you're my age and yet to be married, engage, or heck I never had anyone court me."

"Well you know why, daddy will break something of theirs. Mentally and physically."

"Well I don't care, you're just a child."

"Child?!? I am sixteen years old, I am practically a woman."

"Well I hope you behave like one." I turn around and I see daddy,

"Y/n I want you to behave because I have someone that matches your intelligence, endurance, and personality that I want you to meet."

"Okay..."

TIME SKIP TO THE BALL~

I stand by the corner where when I was younger Patsy, Jack, and I would play hide and seek, I wonder if I could be hidden as well as I would have been when hiding,

Oh my lord, I think I see someone I like, he has black hair, must of it on the side, a big nose, and black spheres for eyes, he is beautiful, but I can't just walk up to him, and say "hey I think you're handsome, like me please!" Now that's needy, so I try a silly tactic I try to get a little bit closer and stare till I see try to glance I would stare at him like I didn't notice him, wait his he walking over to me? Oh prepare Y/n, prepare

"Why hello, I notice you from the other side of the ballroom, my name is Charles Lee at your service." He bows I give my hand and he kisses my knuckles,

"Why Mr. Charles Lee, I am Y/n Washington." He looked up in amazement,

"Why such a strong name for a strong girl." I grow warm, hope I'm not blushing

"Tell me Y/n what interests you?" I decide to tell him,

"My father loves Shakespearian plays and makes quotes all the time and of course I too like Shakespeare but my all time favorite is Romeo and Juliet."

"Ah so you like Romeo and Juliet, that's one of my favorites too!"

"Really?!? I thought regular people like yourself wouldn't like something as cliché."

"Oh I love how-"

"Y/n I would like you to meet Alexander Hamilton." Oh no my daddy is here!

"Um hi, daddy I was in the middle of a conversation."

"Not anymore, why doesn't-" he snaps he's fingers and attempts to remember Charles' name

"Charles Lee that's my name sir."

"Oh yes! Why don't you leave so my daughter may dance with Alexander."

"Okay sir."

"Yeah, make like a Lee and retreat." Alexander sneered, but he didn't turn around, he walked away and left

"Why Y/n~ why don't we dance and talk~" Alexander said, which made me uncomfortable,

"Okay.." We danced and he asked me what I liked, I said Romeo and Juliet, he laughed

"Hah! That's for little girls! That is so cliché!"

"But Charles Lee enjoyed it..."

"Excuse me Y/n? What did you just said." He asked as I start to yell

"I SAID BUT CHARLES LEE ENJOYED IT!!!" This caught the attention of everyone, I run to the stairs but my father grabs my arm,

"Y/n! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! TO YOUR ROOM AT ONCE!"

"FINE DADDY!" I yelled I heard someone mimic me by say "daddy" fine whatever, I go to the my room and go to my balcony, and sit on the bench that Jack made me, I look out to the stars till I hear a twig SNAP!

"Hello? is anyone out there?"

"He jest at scars, that never felt a wound." What the heck? Who is that?

"But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Juliet is the sun. Arise fair sun and kill the envious moon who is already sick and pale grief that thou her maid art far more fair than she. Be not her maid, she is envious, her vestal liv'ry is but sick and green. And none but fools do wear it, cast it off. It is my lady! Oh it is my love! O that she knew she were! She speaks yet she says nothing, what of that? Her eyes discourses, I will answer it. I am too bold, 'tis not to me she speaks. Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven, having some business, do entreat her eyes to twinkle in their spheres till they return. What if her eyes were there, they in her head? The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars as daylight doth a lamp; her eye in heaven would through the airy region stream so bright that birds would sing and think it were not night. See how how she leans her cheek upon her hand! O that I were a glove upon that hand, that I might touch that cheek." This is Romeo and Juliet on Act 1 Scene 2 at the Capulet's Orchard, my favorite scene,

"Ay me!"

"She speaks. O speak again, bright angel, for thou art as glorious to this night, being o'er my head, as is a winged messenger of heaven unto the white-upturned wond'ring eyes of mortals, that fall back to gaze on him when he was bestrides the lazy-puffing  clouds and sails upon the bosom of the air."

"O Romeo, O Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father, and refuse thy name; Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, and I'll no longer be a Capulet." I say as Charles climbs up the balcony and gets to where I am,

"Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?"

"No you shall not, come here and give a kiss worth a thousand kisses."

"Y/n that isn't part of that scene-"

"I know it's not." I proceed to kiss Charles till I heard

"Y/N!"

"Oh I'm sorry, see you again sometime, one thousand goodbyes to you!"

"One thousand goodbyes to you too!" Charles climbs down the balcony he gives me one last glance and again I heard

"Y/N!"

"I'M COMING FATHER!!!"
