Dakota's pov-

I start thinking about it more while Maddie is in the shower. 

I pace around the room thinking.

Wait, i think...I know something and I need to tell Mads.

"Hey babe, I think I have something that we might need mads."

She looks at me confused.

"Gino is Lilly's step brother"

~Maddies pov~

I come out of my shower relaxed and smile at Dakota. Then he says 

"Hey babe, I think I know something and we might need it."

I am really confused but nod for him to go on 

"Gino is lilly's step brother."

My mouth drops, my eyes crow big, and i can't move at all.

Dakota comes and conforts me and i shake out of it.

"Gino could be helping Lilly then." I look at Dakota, "And someone on the dance team? That would have to be chloe she has been attatched to us, do you think she still likes me?" 

Dakota bites his lip which looks cute and looks at me, "I think we need to act cool like we don't know Gino is in on it, then Chloe I think she still likes you because she always is watching you."

I moan "UGHHH, me and her have been done for 3 years!!!"

Dakota chuckles and my phone goes off,

~texts~

Heartbreaker - Hey are you ok?

Me - Yea i'm good whats up?

Heartbreaker - I need to tell you something

-i look at dakota-

Me- ok tell

Heartbreaker - Lilly is my step sister.

Me- I know 

Heartbreaker - Also shes not at juviee, shes here

Me- i figured

*I look at dakota and frown mumbling why is he telling me*

Heartbreaker - Oh, i'm not supposed to be talking to you.

Me- why are you?

Heartbreaker- Bc I don't like what they are doing

Chloe and Angel are here too

*I roll my eyes and lean into dakota*

Me- let me guess they are getting more people that don't like me too?

Or wait why are you doing it if you don't like it?

Heartbreaker- yes, they are planning something big too beware mads.

Also I have to, my step sister is making me and if I don't the blame will be on me. I'm truely sorry

I got to go.

Me- Ight bye.

I look at dakota 

"Well that was different."

I start thinking  and dakota speaks.

"Yea it was different and weird."

I nod my head, "So do you think geno is really sorry d?"

He looks at me, "I'm not forsure mads."

Dakota's Pov

This is weird chloe is maddies ex and maddie doesn't like her.

Angel claims that her and maddie had a thing and they never did.

Lilly has an obsetion with me and It might get dangerous.

Geno I am not really forsure about that.

But who else wants to hurt maddie?

I look over at her and shes smiling  and it makes me smile.

I nudge her "so later at dance what are we going to do?"

She smirks, "Well we could go tell mrs abby but i think thats the chicken way out."

I nod my head listening to her ideas.

"1- we act like we don't know

2- we go and get all touchy in front of her to see if she will blow her cover

3- we can ask mrs abby if we can have another duet

4- all of the above"

I smile at maddies ideas and chuckle a little and then think that all four are really intreging and that we will be able to spend more time together and she knows what i'm thinking so i speak, "4" maddie jumps up and down and plops into my lap.

Chlo-bird : Hey, wanna hang out?

Mads- I can't helping my mom

Chloe-bird: What if I said i was here right now?

Mads- I'd say i'm not home 

Chloe-bird: Really? What if I said I see you rn

Mads- You can't window is blocked and door is shut.

Chloe-Bird: so you are at home

Mads- yeah

* i look at dakota nd mumble shes cliny af today why*

Chloe-Bird: so i can come over

MAds- no

I'm busy

Chloe-Bird: with dakota arent u

Mads- yup
