"I've been having hot spells so I've been going in the pool, it helps." She says.

"That's good." I say.

"Yeah, Anna has helped me loads, we sorted what happened to make me so, bad, and I just want to say sorry again." She says.

"We've all been there, in different ways but still, as long as you're happy and healthy and not evil you're perfectly fine and very welcome, so loosen up ok?" I ask and with her nod I go upstairs.

"I missed you." Michael says from bed as I open the door.

"You can't be serious, you just spent two hours with me." I say.

"I wanted to cuddle." He pouts.

"I wanted Doritos and a shower." I say and he laughs.

"Please." He says. I nod and shake the crumbs of the packet into my mouth. I go to the bathroom and quickly brush my hair and brush my teeth.

I climb back into bed and Michael wraps his warm arms around me, his nose goes to my neck and he sniffs it.

"Good?" I ask with a small laugh.

"Yeah, but your scent is way better, I'm waiting for it to strengthen." He says and I just laugh and fall asleep to Michael sniffing me.

I wake up feeling amazing. We haven't cuddled for that long ever and my God does it feel good, I think it's the electricity.

I sit up but Michael pulls me back down.

"Hey, you scared me." I say.

"Sorry, I don't know what happened, sorry." He says and rubs his face.

"It's fine." I say as I crawl out of bed.

"I'm going for a rinse, it got hot under the blanket." I say.

"Yeah it did." Michael says as I take off my tank top. I throw it at him and wash off the sweat.

Michael goes in after me and we go downstairs for a pack lunch, it's more of a barbecue but we just call it a lunch.

Michael and I walk around answering questions for a while, when I think I have answered all of these who have come to me I look at Michael but I am pulled away by Anna.

"What's up?" I ask her.

"Did you and alpha Michael have sex in the past twenty four hours?" She asks me.

"What? Why?" I ask her.

"I think your pregnant." She says.

"What? That's not possible, we used protection." I say.

"That doesn't matter if you use your witch side and Angel at the same time, the moon goddess told me yesterday while you traveled. I couldn't get hold of you. Your angel side lets you use protection, your witch side won't, it made the protection porous. Your scent is shifting. That happens while conception occurs. It doesn't mean you're necessarily pregnant yet."

"Wait wait wait, how?" I ask.

"You used your witch side and Angel side when you saved those people, wings and fire, that awoke both parts of you, they stay awake for twenty four hours so when you and alpha Michael had sex the witch side was still awake to fight it." She says.

"What's going on, you look awful." Michael says as he joins us.

"Alpha Michael, please take alpha Alex to rest." Anna says.

"Of course, why?" He says as he wraps an arm around me. Then all I see is darkness.

"What's going on?" I ask Anna as she brings me to her office, I carry Alex to the bed in the corner. I put her down and Anna tends to her while she explains it to me.

"Wait, so is she pregnant?"  I ask.

"Maybe, your intercourse made the two sides stay awake, they both have the instinct to protect her, as they are opposites they are responding with this foreign object by fighting each other, as she is at this stage I'd say if the two sides weren't awake she'd be pregnant." Two things flood my senses and fill me. Complete and total happiness, I've thought about it before and the images come back, of us with kids of our own. I know Alex will be an amazing mother, but I didn't think it would be so soon.

The other thing is fear. Firstly,the absolute love of my life, my life, looks like she is dying, maybe it's also because I don't think we are ready, we  finish school in three months, we aren't really prepared.

"Alpha Michael?" Anna asks.

"Yes?" I ask as I zone back in.

"I'm sorry that I have to do this." She says then all I see is her fist and darkness.
