Alex.
We wake up around when we would have gotten on the plane, I look in the mirror and I see no new marks so I smile. I make breakfast while Michael makes coffee.
As we eat I feel nervous. When we get there they will have loads of questions, I don't know any answers if it's to do with the tattoos or my eyes.
"What's up?" He asks.
"I don't know what to say if they ask about my tattoos or eyes, since it will take today and some of tomorrow morning to get the hall ready for the pack meeting I have to think of some excuse until then." I say and I play with the Angel carving necklace Michael got me.
"Just tell them that you're sick and you want to go to bed so they won't roast you with questions and if they ask say that we found some fake tattoo place and you went overboard. And for the eyes say that they are contacts that change with your mood." He says, I nod slowly.
Michael does the dishes and we check the apartment for anything we could have left behind.
We check out of the apartment and to calm my nerves we get some milkshakes and I focus on the change of temperature in my mouth and that calms me down. We put our stuff in the car and I get into the drivers seat.
I drive to a secluded area near by and I take a deep breath.
"Where is the most secluded place that I can drive from?" I ask.
"It's hard to say. We have to think about security cameras too, to be sure." He says. I think for a while and I think of the perfect place. I close my eyes and I see that no one is there.
"Ok, I found somewhere. Ready?" I ask. He nods and I close my eyes. I transport us to the alleyway next to my apartment building.
"Wow, that was awesome." He says. I smile and blush a little.
"I got a headache, wow." I say, I guess I should have worked my way up to doing a whole freaking car. Michael sits me in the passenger seat and drives us to the pack house. I pretend to be asleep so Michael carries me to his bed. And as I am laid on the bed I actually do fall asleep.
As I wake up my headache is still there but is a lot weaker, Michael has put painkillers and water on the bedside table, I take them and I see Michael snoring next to me. Once my headache is gone I feel a strange urge to go outside, back to the birdwatching tower, it's not full moon so it's not the moon goddess.
I write a short note and I put on a loose cardigan. I walk through the common dewy field and I walk to the bird watching tower. I see a figure sitting there and I soon recognise it as Brandon. But he is different. It takes no longer than another second to realise, he is crying.
I climb up to the seat and I see him in a ball in the corner.
"Brandon?" I ask and he lifts his head from his arm and I see his bloodshot eyes.
"Oh my god, what happened? Are you ok?" I ask and I instantly hug him. He holds onto me and cries, dampening my cardigan and top.
"Shhh, shhh." I lull him, once he is calmer and not sobbing I sit him up and I sit with him. "You have to tell me what happened." I say, he looks into the distance as the tears roll down his face and the early morning sun rays seem to help him.
