Hey You,

You ignored me today. Again. I don't know how to feel. It really irritates me, but I can't say anything. I don't wanna lose another close friend to a misunderstanding.

That's what I want this to be, a complete misunderstanding. It might not be because the friend I hugged winked at me today. I flipped them off in return. You sighed and slammed your locker, leaving quickly.

Did you think we were flirting? There isn't any way in hell that I'd date them, no offense to them. I'm pretty close with them, so it'd ruin both mine and your friendship and mine and their friendship if I got together and broke up with them.

Are you just tired and not meaning to ignore me? It's okay, I don't want you hurt. You honestly are an idiot, you can't see anything. I always look out for you because I don't want you to hurt, even in the end it means you hate me.

Again, it's only a mild love, one that can die down or grow larger, and it's all based on your actions. You wouldn't get it, though, because who would love a daisy in a bed of roses?

Today me and one of my close friends were walking down the hallway, and you were behind us. They had just found out I was upset with you and were trying to get you to talk to me. They snickered, pointing to the ground saying, "Look, it's a pencil calling out your name!" They were trying to get me to bend over.

They made a little challenge. The challenge was I was to get you to go to homecoming with me. You know what happened next. I accepted that challenge. Game on, buddy.

You didn't notice I walked faster. I wanted to ignore you. I had a feeling petty me was coming out, and they tend to stoop to the level of whoever they're trying to ignore or seek revenge on.

It's a war zone now, and guess what? It's all your fault.

Sincerely, Me.
P.S. You can't ignore me forever. I will see you on Monday.

Sincerely, MeWhere stories live. Discover now
