In one of the episodes of season 1 Regina had someone knock down Henry's castle. When Henry saw that his castle was destroyed he showed Emma where his storybook was. Henry said to Emma I can't put it under my mattress anymore and I can't give it to you because the evil queen will find it. Mary Margaret told Emma she gave Henry the storybook for him to have hope. My other favorite character is Ruby Lucas she is a wolf. When Emma first went to Storybrooke she was working with Granny. Ruby was talking with Granny when Emma walked into the inn. Regina set Emma up she took Henry's file from Archie. When Ruby told Granny she quit Emma hired Ruby as a deputy. Emma told Ruby I could go for a grill cheese than Ruby asked Henry if he wanted anything Henry told her 2 hotdogs apple pie and a cookie Emma told Ruby he ate at school. Ruby went with Emma to find stuff that belonged to David's wife. When Ruby told Emma about her friend Ashley aka Cinderella Ruby told Emma about Ashley's deal with Mr Gold. Someone found Henry in the woods and called Regina and the man said to Regina are you Henry's mom. She said yes I'm Henry's mom he is in the woods.
