Katie's POV
I heard the door slam open and close and a sigh. It's only one who would that be? Kendall is at school and mum is at work.
"Who's there?" I shouted from my bedroom.
"Katie it's me don't worry." Kendall shouted back. I sighed in relief to his voice.
I heard running up the stairs and Kendall walked up to my bedroom.
"Why are you home early?" I asked
"I got sent home for violence." Kendall said, sighing next to me.
"Kendall - you bad ass. What did you do? Any damaged?" I laughed slightly.
"I kind of grabbed Jessie into a small corner. She might have cried and could have breathing problems for a while." Kendall said
"Kendall... why?" i gasped
"She made up a small rumour about you being a slut to every guy in our school. She needs something done to her."
"What did she say? About me?" i asked
"That's nothing you need to know baby sister." He kissed my forehead.
"Thank you for doing that for me." I hugged him, "thank you."
"It was nothing. I should be doing that without you even asking. It's my job to protect you." He hugged back.
"Isn't Mom going to be mad at you?"
"I don't know yet. Want to watch some TV?" He asked
"Sure!"
We watched TV for a few hours when a ad came up that Columbia Records was here in our town. Looking for teens to sign. I was too young to do it. Plus i would rather do Dance really. But Kendall can sing as well as the guys.
"Keeeeeenndaaaaaaallll." I whined
"Kaaaaaattiiiieeeeee." He mocked me back
"You see that advert about Columbia - well i think-"
"I should try it out? Katie you know that i really want to be succusful in Hockey. It's more of James' thing to be a famous singer." He said
"But Kendall just try it out. If it doesn't work then fine - go back to Hockey. But you can sing really really good. As well as dancing. Remember the times you used to sing me to sleep when i was scared. You sing most of the time. You have talent! When times like this happen you have to take the chance."
"I've never heard you say that much all in one go. You think i could do it?"
"100% you can. Same with the guys. Don't think i can't hear you all singing a stupid song together. You ALL have talent!" i say
"Alright alright i'll do it. But let's get the guys first." Kendall said, getting his phone to text the boys to come.
We sat there for a couple of minutes and we heard the doorbell.
"I'll get it. One second." Kendall said, kissing my cheek and walking down the stairs. He returned with the boys a few moments later.
Kendall's POV
"So the reason why i called you here is because of this little one." I poked Katie's cheek.
"I smell speech." Carlos joked
"We were watching TV and we saw an advert about Columbia Records coming here." i plaused for a second.
"Really?" James grinned
"You bet buddy." I laughed back.
"So you're trying to say that Katie wants us to try out?" Logan said, summing up my speech into shorter words.
"I like the idea." James agreed
"Cause you would. It's your dream. But Kendall we haven't even finished school. What if it doesn't work?" Logan ranted
"You guys need to take the chance while it's out there. If it doens't work - you can go back to what you first planned doing." Katie said
"Logan thing about it, IF it does work out. We could end up being famous, going on tours, events and parties." Carlos said.
"Meeting hot models. All the amazing stuff what famous people do." James added
"Logan - we work as a team. So are you in?" i said
"Fine." Logan sighed,"When are the auditions?"
"Katie?" I looked at her.
"Tomorrow night at 6pm." She answered.
"We need to plan a song." I said
"A dance maybe?" Logan said
"Outfits." James added
"How are we telling our parents where we will be?"
"We will all have time to think about that! First lets order some pizza and we can talk about this with food." I said
Logan called the Pizza place and ordered some pizza. Let me add Tomorrow going to be a long day.
