Chapter 20

Katie's POV

The bell went and i grabbed my stuff and ran out of the room. I was pulled back from something. I turned around and saw it was Carlos, with James beside him.

"Who is he?" Carlos asked

"None of your business." i replied

"Yeah it is. Katie, who is he? Why were you with him?" James ordered, getting slightly angry

"I said, it's none of your business!" i snapped at him

"Katie, why can't you just tell-"

"Why can't you just leave me alone and let me do what i want. I'm going home on my own. Bye." I said blantly, walking away from the door and leaving the school.

I was standing at the gates, not knowing which way to go.

"Katie, right?" A voice said

I turned around and saw Liam, the guy who showed me to French walking towards me.

"Want a lift?" He offered, smiling

"Sure, thanks." i said, walking with him to his car.

We got into the car and i told him my address. We started talking, while Liam was driving.

"That's an unsual surname." i chuckled

We were talking about our surnames and it turns out his was Payne. Odd right?

"Not as odd as yours, Knight." He laughed

 "Shut up!" i laughed

Before we knew it we're outside my house.

"I'll see you around school?" Liam said

"Yup! See you later Payne." I said, jumping out of the car

"Bye Knight." he laughed back - driving off into the distance

A/N: Liam isn't famous in the story and there isn't One Direction in this :( Just Liam

I unlocked the front door and ran straight upstairs to my bedroom door. Soon as i locked my door i sat down on the floor with my back against the door.

"Good - they didn't see me." i said to myself

"Actually we did." Kendall said, coming out of my bathroom with the rest of the boys.

"Great!" i thought to myself

"This conversation going to me interesting, right guys?" Kendall said

"Katie sit." James ordered

"No." i said back

He looked at the guys and they all nodded, James came over to me and picked me up.

"What?" i said, annoyed

"Don't give me that attitude young lady." Kendall glared at me

"Whatever." i rolled my eyes

"How did you get back home?" Kendall asked

"Where did you go at lunch?" Carlos asked

"Who is that boy you was talking to in History?" James asked

"Why was you hugging that boy?" Logan asked

"TOO MANY QUESTIONS! SHUT UP!" I shouted

All of them went silent.

"My friend gave me a lift, i ran off and met the boy James is talking about and Logan i was hugging him because he hugged me and it would be rude not to!" i answered

"What's his name?" Carlos asked

"Lewis." i asnwered

"I don't want you near him again." Kendall ordered

"I don't have to listen to you." i snapped back.

"Yeah you do." Kendall spat back

"No i fucking don't!" i shouted at him

James, Carlos and Logan went silent.

"Don't you ever talk to me like that!" Kendall shouted

"Then don't get into my business!" i shouted back

"I can if i want. When i ask you questions, you do it." Kendall screamed

"WHY SHOULD I!" I stood up, shouting in his face

"Because, i'm your brother, you listen to what I say." Kendall shouted

"BUT YOUR NOT MY FUCKING DAD! SO SHUT UP AND STOP BOSSING ME AROUND!" I screamed

Kendall glared at me, his eyes read angry. He got up and slapped me so hard around my face, i fell from the impact. James, Carlos and Logan were shocked from his movement they just went wide eyed.

"GET OUT!" I screamed, trying my hardest not to cry

"Katie, i'm sorry i-"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM! ALL OF YOU. GET. NOT. NOW!" I shouted so loud i'm most likely sure the whole of America could hear me.

With that, all of the boys ran out of my room and slam the door behind them. I went to my door and locked it. I started to cry my eyes out.

Kendall never has hit me.

I thought he would never do that.

He was meant to protect me, from anything and anyone.

He means nothing to me now.

He lied.
