the drive to the mall was quiet since you were on your phone the whole time no paying attention to the boys.when you got there you hopped out of the car."let's go to foot locker first"nate suggested.you all agreed and walked into foot locker.while nate and tez were looking at shoes while you sat on the bench.you felt a presence sit next to you and you turned to see derek.you smiled."you good?"he asked."yeah im gucci"you replied."you wanna get out of here and wonder the mall with me?"he asked."sure"you replied and walked out of the store with derek.

for about 20 minutes you and derek were talking and laughing and walking in and out stores.derek offered to buy you a few things which you accepted so you had a few bags in your hands.the both of you made it to the food court and you were on line waiting to order

"next guest!"the cashier said.you two walked up to the register,"hi can i get-"before you could finish the employee cut you off,"your very beautiful".you smiled slightly,"thank you.but anyways can i get a-"he cute you off once again."can i get your number"he asked tilting his head to the side.derek looked at you noticing you were extremely annoyed at the fact that he cut you off once again,totally wasting your time bc you weren't interested."i actually-"derek cut you off this time.you let out a huff of annoyance bc you didn't get out a full sentence since you got up to the register

"actually she has a boyfriend." you looked at derek with a confused look on your face but you decided to play along with it.you nodded your head at the boy.the boy looked at derek,"who?"

"me"derek said confidently.your eyes widened as you looked at him as if he were crazy."now i suggest you stop hitting at my girl before we have problem,okay?"derek said as the boy shook his head slightly nervous bc of his sort of intimidating appearance."ok now can we order?"you asked."uh yeah sure"the boys said setting up the touch screen thing.

you and derek sat down with with your food at an empty sm table with 4 seats because tez and nate were going to meet you guys there. "so you're my boyfriend now huh?"you teased derek,poking his side."yup"derek replied nonchalantly.you laughed,"thanks for that though"."no problem.i saw how he was annoying you"he said shaking his head."deadass though!couldnt get a whole fucking sentence out"you exclaimed.derek chuckled as he took another bite of his burger.

tez and nate soon walked over and sat down in one of the empty seats in front of you and derek."so what you two been up to?"tez asked taking a few of your fries."derek is my new boyfriend!"you exclaimed,leaning over and planted a kiss on derek's cheek.you turned to see tez coughing from choking on the fries.nate patted his back until he was fine.

"your what?!"he shouted standing up,and of course not without getting stares from people all around the food court."we're just kidding bro calm down"derek laughed.tez sucked his teeth,"don't play like that"

"well not yet"derek mumbled.you looked at him and he looked at you.you both smiled at each other and continued eating knowing something was bound to happen between the both of you
