This is Oheta. Still working out complete details, but the basis is this:
She was cursed to have her soul bound to her flute. So if the flute breaks, she falls fatally ill, and will die in an hour if her flute isn't repaired/she finds a new flute.
The upside is that she can control her emotions with it. By playing a happy song, she will feel happy. A sad song, she'll be upset, etc.
However, if the flute gets dented or scratched up or anything like that, she'll feel pain.
Despite her curse, she still wanders the regions, playing from the shadows and occasionally singing, gaining the nickname, "the Shadowed Purity" for the effortlessly clear sound in her voice and the notes from her flute.
Yay. It probably sucks but eh.
One eye is naturally silver, and Oheta is a mix of two languages. Ohe means flute, Flauta means flute, Oheta.
