So. We now have a handful of idiots on a beach laughing on the ground. At 3:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Normal for this group.
" sand castle contest!" Laff yelled suddenly
" two teams" herc said
" team 1 theo eliza angelica maria and peggy team 2 me laf john and alex. Burr is judge " herc said
" the teams are uneven" maria pointed out

We moved to spots where we could not see each other. Of course my group looked to me for a plan. Ugh being the artist in the group. I started to draw it a plan in the sand. We were going to make a starfish. Out of sand of course. About an hour or so later we had a surprisingly detailed starfish made out of sand. The while times herc was humming some weird star fish song.' sea star sea star. On me you make a wish but dont call me star fish', hes a strange person. I'm still calling it a star fish. About 30 minuets later we were done with the finishing touches. We went back to where burr was standing. The girls were soon over there to. We went and looked at the girls sand art thing. I wonder what they made. We walked up to it. It appeared to be a 3D silhouette of a human made out of sand. It was done very well. It looked close to real. It was a little creepy. We walked over to our sand sculpture.our star fish also looked close to real. It was a little creepy as well. I'm sure we would not win though it was not very good when compared to the other teams sand sculpture.
" so who wins burr" Eliza said
" just give me a second to think." Burr said
We sat on the beach and waited for burr to decide. We waited and waited and waited. it was about 4:45. It was almost dark now. Daylight savings was already over. Good i prefer winter.
" why does it get dark so early here" alex said
" because its almost winter" i said
" is that why its freezing?" Alex said
we all laughed.
" why is that funny?" Alex said annoyed
" because you think this is freezing" i laughed
" it gets colder" he said eyes widening
" yep. Just wait until it snows." I laughed and so did the rest of the group
" ive never seen snow before" alex said
" then you will have a very fun or horrible winter" laf laughed

" burr have you finally made a decision" Angelica called
