Start from the beginning

"You're so cute, you know that?" Tsukishima whispered, which made Kageyama's eyes fill with tears again as he wrapped his arms around the tall blonde in reply.

Oddly enough, Kageyama wasn't really very comfortable with people calling him beautiful, pretty, gorgeous etc. and he was more immune to words such as 'cute' and 'adorable'.

He'd been called the word before, by Kuroo and Bokuto and even Hinata once - but in a best friend way - and every time, it never really had an affect on him, but when Tsukishima said it, it made him feel special.

The blonde lamppost never complimented anyone else, and it was just a blessing to Kageyama to be able to hear those words come out of the boy's mouth nearly everyday, and he actually felt so lucky to have someone as salty and provocative as Tsukishima by his side.

It was cute.
