Chapter 3

" PANCAKES" I heard Laf up yell and everyone rushed to the kitchen

I walked in to the kitchen confused what was so amazing about Lafs pancakes. Wait what is a pancake?

" Laf is the best cook" john said " and pancakes are probably one of the best things he makes."

" um, what exactly is a pancake?" I mumble awkwardly

They all gasp

" you really don't know what a pancake is?" Peggy asked

" if you don't mind me asking, where exactly are you from? I can hear an accent. And this just kind of confirmed what i was thinking." Hercules said

" oh um I'm from a small town in Nevis in the Caribbean" i said awkwardly

" are you the kid Jefferson called an immigrant bastard yesterday then almost got in a fight with yesterday?" Angelica asked

I nodded

" dude why would you start a fight with him. First of all he had 3 friends with him. Second he's like 6'3" and you are like 5'1"" Herc scolded being the mom friend as always

" I'm 5'4" and i was in the middle of running for my life after I committed a minor crime i mean it was not really  a crime but whatever and he got in the way " i rambled

" you had to be saved by burr!" Eliza said laughing again

" I heard that" Burr called through the wall

" eavesdropping much?" Angelica yelled back

" no just you guys are loud and the walls are thin so yes I have heard everything that happened with you guys this morning and last night." Burr groaned

" for shame, burr eavesdropping." Laf said

" well thats good to know" John laughed

" guys we still need to tell alex what a pancake is and then eat the pancakes" Peggy said

" um well a pancake is basically like some form of a breakfast pastry I guess" John said looking at the others for approval. They just kind of mumbled and nodded in agreement.

" a pancake is a thin, flat cake of batter, usually fried and turned in a pan. Pancakes are usually eaten with syrup or rolled up with a filling." Burr said through the wall

" thanks Burr" Angelica called back

"Always happy to help" Burr laughed

I can not tell if they consider burr a friend or just a person they know or maybe they hate him. Is it possible that it could be all three? I don't personally have a problem with burr but i would not exactly say he's my friend.

" everyone grab a plate" Laf said

Everyone grabbed a plate off the counter and went back to the couch or chair or floor to eat because we had no table.

I nervously took a bite of one of the fluffy things on my plat.

"Laf! These are amazing!" I said amazed by this food

The entire group laughed

" what else haven't you done?" Eliza said

" oh there is a million things I haven't done" I laughed quoting slameander damiltion from the musical damiltion. ( a/n I'm sorry I couldn't help myself )

" we love that musical " all 6 and Burr screamed then shared a look and started cracking up

"JEFFERSON WE CLAIM THIS CHILD IN TO OUR GROUP HES OURS YOU CANT HAVE HIM" Peggy yelled at the ceiling

" good we didn't want him in the first place!" Came 4 voices from upstairs

" who we talking about" Lee's friend group called from somewhere in the building

" wow everyone I know is in one building right now" Alex said

" and Theodosia" came a girls voice from burrs dorm

" and Theodosia" I laughed " what's a Theodosia," I said

" my roommate and burrs girlfriend" Eliza said

" wait who has who as a roommate" John asked

" Eliza and Theodosia , Angelica and Jenna, Peggy and Maria, you and Alex, and Laf and me" Hercules said

" ARE YOU TWO  A COUPLE YET" Jefferson asked Herc and Laf

" thats it I'm leaving" Herc yelled and walked out the door

" I better go too" Laf sighed and walked out

An oooooo came from all 4 rooms of people listening to this conversation. And what sounded something like fu** you guys was shouted from dorm 1777. Herc and Lafs dorm.

ANDpeggo; we all have met drunk john so we know what will happen and even id alex is not like that john is intense when drunk
