I've been getting into writing more smutty stuff lately. I promise, you only have to gain from this.

"What's Japan like?" Harry asked excitedly.

They sat in the Irwin's sitting room, with Harry and Lauren staring at Luke and Ashton excitedly.

Luke smiled. He genuinely liked the Irwin family, all of them. They were pretty close, even though Ashton was away for most of the year. "It's really colorful. They, uh, speak Japanese."

Ashton laughed. "Really? They speak Japanese in Japan? This is new knowledge to me!"

Unlike Luke, Ashton was completely at ease in his house. You could tell that he was home, from the way his smile was permanent, the way his laugh was constant. In L.A., he laughed a lot. In Australia? Ashtons laughter was just a constant background noise.

Luke groaned, facepalming. "Well, I don't know. It's been a long time since I've been to Japan."

Little Harry Irwin nodded excitedly, like this was great information.

Lauren sighed. "I've always wanted to go to London. Is it nice there?"

Ashton nodded. "Big Ben was cool. We didn't get to see it up close, but we saw it when flying in."

That was just one of the side effects of touring. They may go to tons of countries, but that doesn't mean they got to be tourists.

Lauren smiled slyly, looking at the floor. "Is Michael coming over later? And, um, Cal?"

  Luke raised his eyebrows. "'Cal'?"

Lauren's cheeks were slightly pink, and it took Ashton a minute to realize what that meant, before he bellowed out with laughter. "Lauren! He's like... Luke, how old is Cal?"

"20," he said without having to think about it.

Ashton nodded. "He's my age. That's... 5 years older than you."

Lauren smiled slyly. "He's not your age, he's two years younger. Five years isn't even that much!"

Luke noticed that her accent got stronger when she was flustered.

Ashton shook his head, though his smile never wavered. "Sorry Lauren. Either way, he's taken. And he's into older girls."

Lauren raised her eyebrows. "I thought Annie was just a beard?"

"Nope, not a beard," Luke said annoyedly. Why did everyone think she was a beard?

"And she's not older than him," Lauren argued. "Isn't she like, a year or two older than me?"

Ashton snorted. "She's a year older than me. Annie's 23, and either way, she's got Calum wrapped around her finger."

"Like the song!" Harry said excitedly.
"She doesn't act like she's older. Calum's her sugar daddy."

Ashton put a hand over Luke's mouth, giving him a look like 'you idiot.' "Haha, real funny Luke, anyways-"

"He's her sugar daddy?" Lauren asked excitedly. "Do they have that kink? Do they-"

"Lauren!" Ashton scolded. It was his turn to turn red. "It's a joke. Calum's not her sugar daddy."

"Whatever you say Ash," Luke said unenthusiastically, her words turned to incoherent mumbles from Ashton's hand still over his mouth.

"What's a sugar daddy?" Harry asked innocently.

Lauren turned to explain it to him, but stopped when Ashton gave her a look. "'s nothing."

Ashton nodded in approval. "But Mikey is at his house, I'll tell him we're here in case he wants to come over. And Cal is coming in a few days."

"The day after tomorrow," Luke clarified. "And he's super off-limits. So don't even think about it."

Lauren gave him a look like she just found out something she wasn't supposed to know. "Is Cake real?"

"Obviously, stupid." Harry explained quietly. "I had it at my birthday party. With the chocolate frosting, remember?"

Ashton grinned at Luke in a way that wasn't exactly friendly. "No, Cake isn't real. We're all just friends. All that stuff you hear about us being in secret relationships is completely made up."

Luke remembered just last night, Michael's hand tangled in his hair, pushing Luke down as he-

"Yeah, completely made up. I don't know where they get these ideas from."

Ashton laughed causally as Lauren left the room. He pulled out his phone and started typing, and Luke waited for a second before his phone buzzed.

He swiped it open, looking at the text Ashton sent him. Speaking of which, your voice sounds a little sore today? You coming down with something?

Luke looked at Ashton, who was smirking. He knew exactly what that text was supposed to mean.

"My throat feels a little sore today. I think Mikey gave me that thing he was getting over."

It was a harmless enough statement, but Ashton scrunched up his nose. "Your gross."

"I can't help being sick," Luke defended, but they both knew he wasn't sick, and that wasn't what they were talking about. "If you want to blame someone, blame Mikey."

"I hope your throat feels better soon," Harry said genuinely. "Maybe you swallowed something bad?"

Luke almost choked at the innocent boy's word choice. "You know, I think you're right. That's probably it."

"Maybe you ate something and swallowed it before it was completely chewed up," Harry agreed, glad to be taken seriously. "Have you eaten anything without chewing it up all the way at all recently?"

Luke tapped his chin. "You know, I had a hot dog the other day. Or... wait no... it was a sausage. Yeah, it was a sausage. I guess I didn't use my teeth enough."

"You're a dispicable person," Ashton said, though he was trying not to smile at the innuendos. "There are children present."

Luke looked around, as if searching for the children. "Where? It's just you and me and Harry, and Harry's almost to double digits, he's basically an adult."

Based on the way Ashton was beaming, Luke knew he'd redeemed himself.
