Cold Kiss

Let my tears fall.

Let your laughter ring within my ears.

Your seductive smile and treacherous lies

Slip into my innocent heart

And play like a record stuck on repeat.

Your presence fills me with a cold dread

But your voice quickens my heart

and burns my blood.

As I lay to rest,

I see your deep cold blue eyes

And feel a sudden hope

For my iminent welcome

with Death's cold kiss.
