Her somber expression is imprinted into my mind
That everlasting stare of hopelessness
Her once beautifully tan skin begins to pale.
Her lips begin to quiver,
Her chest begins to rise and fall quickly.
Her petite hands clenched into small fists
are pressed against her chest.
As the tears start to build
A strangled sob tries to escape.
Her mind running with unimportant thoughts
Her feelings running a muck within her.
The first tear falls,
