Y/N's POV

My father's funeral was held a week ago, I dearly miss him, very very much. I still go to school but I don't talk except if the teacher asked me a question, I am still undergoing through depression, I just don't know what my life would be without my father.

I walked to my room, school just ended and I headed straight home, I walked pass my desk where a box was on top, it was from my father, I don't know if I'm ready to open it, I sighed deeply.

I grabbed the box and wripped the brown wrapping, when I opened there was a sketchbook and a letter on top, I remembered the letter that mother gave me, I still haven't read it.

I opened the sketchbook and to reveal a picture of me when I was just 5, playing the piano with my father and my mother took the picture.

When I mastered the piano that's when my parents started beating me up, I closed the sketchbook not wanting to remember some tragic memory.

I opened my drawer and put my sketchbook in it. I grabbed the letter and look at it, from my mother and father, I opened it and red my mother's writing, it said:

Dear Y/N,

         I know you probably hate me from doing bad things to you, I made your father do it to. I just can't tell you that... I'll be going so fast, I didn't tell your father also. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you and I'm very sorry for doing tragic things to you. I'm really sorry. I love you. You're the best daughter that anyone can have...

"How could you say that mother... I don't hate you.. I really really miss you and father.. I wish you're in a better place together" I said and tears kept falling. I opened my father's letter, it said:

Dear Y/N,

      If  you're reading this I'm probably gone, I had contact a friend of mine to look out for you, she is kind she will come when you call her. I know you stopped playing the piano when your mother died, but please continue playing the piano and that will make me very happy.

    Me and your mother will always be with you, we'll guide you, remember that we really really love our one and only daughter, even if we beat you up in the past, that was a big mistake that we made, just because of money.

    We are terribly sorry. We love you <3

Tears fell from my cheeks, falling to the letter smudging some of the words, I exited my room and entered our music room. I touched the keys of the piano

"What make's you happy.... Will make me happy" I said and played the piano, I remembered the times the we we're together

I played the intro and started singing
